Is anything going to be done about autofill in ranked?

I understand that it's an integral part in getting wait times down for queues

However, I feel like maybe 10-25% of games, higher percentage the higher MMR you go, have the competitive integrity of games ruined.

Like if my jungle is an autofill support main, and our support role already has a support main in it, that's it, he loses jungle because he sucks at pathing compared to the main on the other side

And it goes like that for every role, I main top, and it's so fucking easy to tell when the opposing laner is autofilled, because they have no idea how to pilot the champion or what to do with them, and I just stomp all over them like I'm smurfing in silver

I don't know what the work around is, but honestly, autofill ruins some games

So for S9 it suppose to put you in lower Ranks games because (presumably) you are lower MMR for that Role.

There used to be a time when there was no role queueing. You joined a room and you were usually stuck adhering to pick order. 1st pick usually went mid and last pick was usually stuck supporting. You were usually expected to know how to play at least 1 champion in a few other roles, the more popular your main role the more off roles you needed to know.

Okay well, that argument can be thrown around all you want, but it doesn't answer to the fact that competitive integrity in a ranked game is demolished when a person plays on a role that they play 1 in 100 games.

It doesn't matter what was going on before, it was hurt then, it's still hurt now.
