there is little to no satisfaction when I win with champions that are not meta

why? because I have to work 2 times as hard to win a game that could be a coin flip. I could easily pick up Anivia or Lux to auto push the wave and kill someone when they get hit by one of my abilities. I would rather play Ryze that requires more rotations to kill someone but there is little joy in out playing a meta champion with Ryze because they're inherently better

Hold on. There is little to no satisfaction when I win with champions that are not meta

ftfy. Welcome to modern league of legends, where even winning isn't fun anymore because everyone knows they're only winning because their team won the coinflip

Then you're screwed and whining about something that can't be fixed. If you like Ryze, embrace the challenge that accompanies winning with him. If you like easy wins, pick up an easy win champ. You can't want to play Ryze while also expecting just an easy a win as if you play no brain Lux. C'mon guy...

Just admit it, you want to play unpopular champions so that you can humblebrag on the boards about how much higher your elo would be if you played meta, giving you an opportunity to shit on better players than you who happen to play meta.

I mean I have a 60% win rate on Ryze who has a 44% average win rate. I don't mean to sound like I'm bragging because I really am not. I just don't understand why I put 300% effort on a champion to get the results of someone play a champion like Anivia at 50%.

Yeah, I looked at your op.gg. You have a 47% winrate in your last 19 Ryze games in soloQ, however as you abuse flexQ you boost your winrate to 56%. Great stuff, 3% higher than the average Ryze as a main.

Because being stuck in G2 with Anivia doesn't give you the opportunity to humblebrag on the boards for being stuck in G3 with Ryze.

Nope, it's at 53% and in your last 19 games down to 47%, meaning that the 53% is boosted from you being in a lower division previously. You gotta change from "S8 total" to "soloQ" to see that I'm right. Your flexQ winrate of 64% highly boosts your total stats which is why you being proud of your winrate is kinda.. Ehhh

Lux is meta?

That's the point lol, if the champion isn't meta it means that the champion isn't good, and if they're not good its naturaly harder to win. I enjoy playing shit that isn't meta, i love playing zed jungle or karthus support and i know its harder to win but when i do win and i know they lost to my shitty pick it makes the effort worth it.
