Ardent Censor doesn't work on self heals but works on self shields?

"UNIQUE: Heals and shields on allied champions enhance you and them with FRENZY for 6 seconds." "FRENZY: Grants 10% − 30% (based on target's level) bonus attack speed and 5 − 20 (based on target's level) bonus magic damage on-hit."

Can someone explain why shields work with ardent censor on yourself but not heals?

Things like Diana and Udyr shield both prock Frenzy passive.

Things like Fiddlesticks and Nidalee self heals don't prock Frenzy passive.

Could it be coded as the shield being placed on yourself, whereas the heal is just added to your health bar, so the shields technically count as placing it on someone?

I dont think you want to deal with a Trynd with that item if it worked on self heals. He could care less about the mana regen.

Assuming self-heals are treated like Regen and shields... dont have a similar mechanic unless youre Malphite
