The old Ahri lore basically had her (HEAVILY IMPLIED) as a Succubus (Sexual demon that steals the 'male essence'). So if a man touches her, lore wise, he would be soon to die a very blissful death.

Her Innate allows her to shrug off poke while her everything else allows her to evade and punish all-ins. It's the same reason why so many people find Samurai Bob frustrating to play against. They have all the tools they need to completely dictate the tempo of every interaction.
