Honestly, when was the last time you saw anyone build wits end?
Title....
Title....
Invasion mode.
Joke aside, it's a reactive item, it's rather niche, but it has its uses in some AS-based fighters build.
They build it in LCS occasionally and Kogles really loves it.
This champion called Kog'maw. It's in more of his games than botrk according to probuilds.net.
it gets built almost every game in Star Guardian: Invasion
I dont think it's really the problem with Wit's End. Rather, the current meta favors adcs heavily and at same time mages are a bit too weak as well.
The 40 magic resist is, not surprisingly, a good stat against mages. So... why bother building magic resist when I can use that same amount of gold to get armor instead? GA is 100g cheaper and also grants armor against enemy adc autos as well, so why not get that instead?
Once preseason happens, perhaps mages will be great again doing their job, and wit's end will actually be useful.
I dont think it offers much defense early because of the lack of hp, and the on hit damage damage is less relevant as the game goes on.

I wouldn't buy it on the current version of
personally as I've found chasing items more effective.
finds it okay, but not great, a little better than on Shyvana IMO.
likes it just fine although those are off-meta roles for all except Nunu.
probably get good use out of it although haven't tried it on them lately.
Of course with the rune rework, for some of these items champions like Shyvana the item might become more or less attractive, will have to wait and see.
{{c

I saw a Teemo build it yesterday vs Orrn, but I play league ALL DAY.
invasion ahri.
Warwick and Tahm Kench synergize ridiculously well off of it.
Invasion. Also seen a Varus using the Invasion build, it hurt a lot.
Cowsep started dicking around with it on Master Yi.
Turned out to actually be a pretty good purchase.
It's very situational.
There aren't many champions that are AP Attack Speed;

Lmao the item is pretty common..

or

I use Banner sometimes, depending on the enemy comp. If the team needs more pushing power, and I have Janna or Soraka, it's a good item. Especially if the enemy team has
...
...It's honestly not bad if their primary pushing power is primarily magic damage. In particular, it makes a minion Corki basically can't kill, since only 10% of his AA damage is physical.
where is
in your list
how can you forget our favorite demacian mage
Kog'maw almost always gets it in LCS matches. Only reason he doesn't in low tier is because nobody remembers it exists.
Corki uses it sometimes.
Teemo uses it in AS-heavy builds.
Kayle buys it when she lanes against AP.
Diana sometimes uses it, although it's pretty rare she does.
Shyvana tends to use it against AP-heavy teams.
Playing unranked on this smurf, and rarely kog maw builds it.
When i feel like it. Often times i am not on a auto based champion though, so it doesnt come up often.
Du dudu dududududu du dudu dudududu du duuuuuuuuuh
It's not THAT bad of an item it's just that not many champions can use it and it's a pretty unpopular item.
I used to build it on irelia sometimes but I stopped playing her some time ago, there are some champions that can use it pretty well against heavy ap comps though.
It's good on Nautilus for his passive. Of course, he could also build abyssal mask.
The last time I played Shen mid it was a great item.
Besides that, haven't really seen it.
Teemo kogmaw akali.
I saw it once on an Udyr that carried the f*ck out of the game. Does that count?
Most Kogs, and whenever I'm going on-hit Naut.
the last game i played i built it, on thresh, in ranked.
Yeah it's a niche item but it has it's users as strange as they can be. Mostly on hit champions/builds use it though and that in and of itself is a small selection. kogmaw, teemo, maybe kennen at least before the recent set of changes. And then if you do some weird off meta shit like i did.
I'm a fan of wit's end mallet Shen
sometimes, but that´s just me beeing crazy.
Idk, but it's probably insanely strong right now, if you can get a game without 4ADs on the enemy team, with how much lifesteal there is and how little damage AP does.
You'd have to be at your wit's end thinking of what to build to do that...
Wit's End is a specialist item. You usually only see it as an option for on-hit/basic attack based sustain damage champions that rely on mixed damage. Generally it's a good item against armor stacker that deal predominantly magic damage. The item gives you a lot of room for thought, as there are many viable reasons to pick it:
