Dragons Matter

I don't know about the rest of you, but since the pre season changes hit with a heavy emphasis on dragon importance, it seems to me that half of all players jungling just do not seem to understand or care about dragon control.

And while I can get behind the idea that it often requires a team effort to secure a dragon, the jungler is the one who should always be present for the attempt.

But half the time, a jungler is on the opposite end of the map doing something else while dragon is alive and likely being taken either by my team or the enemy team.

If you are playing jungle whether by choice or because you were filled, keep in mind that dragons are important now more than ever before. And they were pretty freaking important before if that tells you anything.

Hear you, sometimes I just get so very tired of hearing Top lane cry about never getting ganks ya know? In all seriousness, some dragons can be skipped. If the current Dragon alive has a buff that the enemy team really can't make use of, let them have it. It opens them up to be hurt elsewhere while they gain little benefit. A team of squishies for instance isn't going to benefit from a single Ocean Drake, or enemy team with Aatrox and Galio aren't really going to see much benefit from Air Drake etc.

9 out of 10 games my JG never gets a Dragon 9 out of those 10 games the other team gets all the Dragons.

10 out of 10 games I end up with fucking 4 or even 5 people in my damn bot lane cuz they need to kill us, of course, to get the dragon not like our jg was going to contest it anyway.

I love and hate this change.

There was that one game we got not only 4 Infernal Dragons we got the Infernal soul on top of that it was an amazing game 8 dragons in total taken that game crazy

Cut the jungler some slack in soloq. Theres that top laner getting clapped 1v1 who is always begging for a gank. You go top the enemy laner backs off or escapes becauses hes got level+ stat adavantage on your top and 1 minute later you notice dragon is gone. Or Bot lane is getting slammed in the 2v2 and you have to chance they don't suddenly walk up to for vision control while they have your combined 0/4 botlane pissing themselves under tower. Or your mid gets stomped and you have to pray the 1 and a half item zed isn't looking to roam bot while your 0/3 veigar or what have you with just a lost chapter is just trying to last hit.

Honestly a lot of the times on whether dragon can be taken depends on your lanes. If mid or bot god help you both get stomped its that much riskier to even make the attempt, even if you can take the enemy jungler in a 1v1 god help you if his fed mid lane or bot lane comes to his rescue.

Sometimes junglers powerfarm because thats all they can do. You try to time camps to be up for a lane youre going to gank then on your path they die so by the time you get there its afk in that spot doing nothing until enemy lane returns from their recall or path back the other way since thats where the farm is.

Dragon control is a team effort and you can't expect the jungler to be solely responsible for that. If jungler shows top and mid and bot are not mia then sure its a free dragon.
