It deals big damage.... It's really easy to dodge.... I'm not sure what part of this is either unfair or surprising

Even built fall damage, Ekko's combo is really slow compared to other assassins. He has some good utility, yes, but not that much more than, say, Diana.

1v1 his stun is pretty easy to dodge. It can be annoying in team fights, but as long as one of your tanks stays out of it, Ekko is going to have a hell of a time getting your carry down before he has to GTFO. Then it's a matter of spreading out away from his echo so he can't ult back in and explode you with it.
