Why Do People Ignore Pings So Much??

Its so frustrating losing games because people refuse to respond to pings. People shouldn't have to ping until the game no longer allows you to ping just to watch you die because you chose to ignore the ping. Or when you can clearly see baron is about to respawn but yet you cant contest because again...someone ignored the pings and got caught and died and now you are a man down at crucial moment. Losing any game like this tilts me especially those 40 + min games that end because of this

Some people mute everything because they are used to assholes pinging them for no reason. Too bad because of these assholes they will never see helpful pings.

This is why we can't have nice things. :(

Because theres some genuinely bad pings. Trust me I get it, its super frustrating when you ping out that your mid laner is MIA, then suddenly you have vision of them running bot- and they still agro and die bot even though it was super avoidable.

But then theres stupid ass pings that have cost me for following; someone pings a level 9 baron while were at half HP. Someone pings danger when im chasing mid laner through jungle because there 10% hp jungler is collapsing to help his 3% hp mid laner. Someone pings dragons going to respawn while were aced and someones splitting top lane. Our jungler pings for an invade while I'm low HP and the waves pushed in- and my mid laner is MIA.

It makes it fucking super hard to decipher this while you're managing waves, trading/spacing, and watching out for other potential threats. I'm not saying you're wrong, but its not right to assume that just because you spam something that a player is going to respond to your pings, just like how you probably have died/made a bad call despite warning or MIA pings. Shit happens- best you can do is try not to tilt them more after they die to a ping they should have followed.

Yeah i know there are some assist pings that can be bad calls. My post is primarily about the danger pings. I should of said that in the title.

You have people out there that will push a lane deep solo....you ping the enemies spawn timers and then ping danger...and then type in the chat "pls back off" and they just stay until they get collapsed on. And then it happens to the same person more than once, twice, three times they die the same way............at which point should this be punishable and not just thrown into the bad play category and not reportable.

It helps to not spam pings, I know that when people don't listen the first instinct is to ping them some more, but if they didn't listen before then they aren't going to listen after. And Spamming is more likely to make them mute you.

Your best bet to get people to listen to your pings is to minimize your use of them so that when you do use them people are more likely to take them seriously. I tend to ping MIA in my lane, then I'll ping danger somewhere I know will be on my allies' screens (rather than just on their minimap) and even better if it's on the path I expect the enemy to take while they are roaming.

i got the experience its better to warn-ping than ping "missing". the red colour and the sound of the warn-ping is sharper and much better to hear and recognize.

that why i hate it when ppl ping "missing" on their lane. instead of warning the sidelanes which is much more usefull.
