No, I'm comparing her to Ornn, Ezreal, Lucian, etc who all have similar interactions with CC on lower CDs with ways to either reset them quicker, access to CDR in their builds, quicker maxing of said skill, or a combination of all three.
Tristana has two, long CD escape abilities compared to a variety of other champions who have shorter CD ones with access to CDR. One of her escapes is literally her Ult.
In the grand scheme of things, Tristana's 22 second jump's buffer time canceling CC is a form of skill expression by, not only the Tristana player, but by the user of CC. If you're burning your CC when you know she has jump up, that is completely your fault and you just got out played because you dont know how burn a 22 second CD, lol. There is plenty of room and available counterplay to the buffer on her jump; it's just a matter of are you intelligent enough to actually take advantage of it.
Quick note, if you're Thresh and you happen to hook her in that buffer period, you can still pull yourself to her and continue to CC her with flay and ult. If you're Leona, your E still brings you to her and she still gets CCd by your follow up Q. If you're Nautilus, you still get dragged to her and can snare her with your AA. And the beauty of all of this is she literally cant escape anymore because its a 22 second CD that doesn't get reduced via AAs or abilities(Ezreal, Lucian).
