Frustrating to be a TRYHARD player in ranked...

We all have been playing this game for awhile. And it's sad to say the current ranked system is EXTREMELY outdated. There are no barriers for players to troll; picking off-meta champions, first time playing x champ, jungle auto-fill.. even AFK buster is outdated.

I could join a game, run down mid, then scroll through instagram the entire game - with no repercussions other than meaningless reports.

Literally every game I play; there is no sense of urgency whatsoever. My team could be doing baron; and the dumb ass jungler will still be doing his "path". Every single jungle fill does not know how to play the champ nor role, might as well pick another support and proxy your mid laner.

Every single game; one bot lane is feeding, there is no in-between or close match in the bot lane. Simply because one of the supports is barely playing the game. Janna's that will never cast a slow, or even auto-attack. Hell I bet 70% of the current playerbase doesn't even know what zone control is.

It's frustrating to be TRYHARD; only to get trolled

Riot needs to just ban people and take away the ability to play ranked. Like if you get punished once you should lose the option of ranked for a season.

They would never do this; Simply because end of season rewards is one of their ways to bring players back. People smurph all the time; which is a good revenue but right now banning players that are "toxic" is the most revenue.

Just get a champ that requires no thoughts and nuking... So get flash. And A insta kill assassin or mage.

If only there was a ranked mode where you could pick your team so that you would be sure everyone shared your mindset instead of trying to impose your preferences on complete strangers...

Even complete strangers should go into a ranked game with the intention to win with their team, if not they shouldn't be playing ranked and in all honesty there should be some kind of punishment for not playing to win.

See, this is where there is a massive disconnect between your premise and what is actually happening. Most people go into the game with the intention to win. But every single game, EVERY SINGLE GAME, one team outplays the other. And because of the snowbally nature of the game, more often than not small victories at the beginning grow into bigger victories later on.

The OP is complaining that people aren't playing the way he wants them to play, that's different from not playing to win. It's okay to disagree with what someone thinks is the best way to win.

And by the way, statistically speaking, the people that the OP plays with are about as effective at winning as he is, so this thread is nothing more than whining and blaming teammates for being stuck.

they do ban people that int/troll, but its just too much of a coinflip tbh. i got perm banned for flaming a troll 3 months ago and after spamming tickets every day for a week, they also got banned
