Why does my champion stop when being nearsighted

Honestly having to spam rightclick just not to get mini-rooted is so god damn annoying. A champion that got nearsighted should keep walking in direction they were told to walk to, even if this was an attack order.

It is very easy to avoid that once you know that happens, but it makes the game feel that much more clunky.

I really have no idea what you are trying to say here...no offence. Care to elaborate?

If you are running toward say a Graves and he nearsights you with his smoke, your champion will stop in place until you issue new movement command, because they lost sight of their target. This forces you to do some silly mouse work to chase nearsighting champions most effectively. It isn't something hard to do, but it is annoying and counter-intuitive, especially for newer players, as nearsight isn't supposed to interrupt your movement.
