You lose what, like 5 AP? Barely noticeable, and the attack speed does help with last hitting.

Yeah it is kind of weird that it is best on AP's but it is on precision tree which unless u are azir diana or ekko u don't really benefit from attack speed

They should have a little slider. Where you can have either the full amount of Attack Speed on one side or the full amount of AD/AP on the other, and the slider will let you choose what percentage of each you want.

But with this tree u can always pick rune for tenacity so its like free merc, and as is always helpfull with csing

I mean in kassadin's case, as well as other champs who use PoM, at least you kind of make up for it with things like coup de grace
