I mean, at least Aatrox had to auto attack to heal.
Mundo has a kit that allows him to do well with 
early, allowing him to always be healing, then pressing R to heal even more. Its so FUN to watch a champion get all of his health back after he runs away from the fight for a few seconds....WHILE doing great damage and being great in team fights for his team.
But ya know, AATROX was the problem.

IcyPepper3 votesI don't understand why people go "X got reworked but Y is okay?" Complete reworks take time and resources, and they're not going to roll them all at once (on top of being, well, impossible). There's a roadmap for a reason, and a lot of older champions that need tuning as well.
After Akali and Nunu, my bet is Mundo is probably going to be one of the next three precisely for the reasons you speak of.

ModKnightsKemplar2 votesTo be fair, it's more healthy that Mundo doesn't do a butt-ton of damage while he heals that much. Aatrox got to build full damage (potentially, I realize that's not most games) and still be impossible to kill. It's not exactly the same as Mundo, who at least has to build tank for that.

Lord Malpercio1 votesMundo can be kited and dealt with rather easily. Is his ult powerful? Yes, but that's because it's his only real initiation tool beyond smacking you with cleavers.
If you're going to complain about ANYTHING on Mundo, it should be those damn 25% HP cleavers. God damn those hit like a brick.
