Vayne is probably the most meta resistant champion in existence

DISCLAIMER:THIS IS NOT A QQ POST

whether being meta resistant is a trait of good or bad champion design

I think we can agree Vayne seems to survive every direct and indirect slaps from the Meta or her own buffs/nerfs

Season 6 is a pretty good example of this,here in the chaotic beauty known as season 6 we have early game or spell slinging AD's ravaging the bot lane even some getting there own Korean touch(i.e. ,etc) and we all know how much Vayne hates early game and spell slinging AD's,unless your good on Vayne(or the enemy is stupid) chances are your lane will become,a lane of never ending farm,you'll feed like no tomorrow,or transform into Gosu

Now with all these AOE mage bastards,Assassin tanks and the other AD's mentioned above Vayne manages to survive,and I think this is due to the very nature of Vayne,the way her kit is built lets her have a large pool of item paths and builds,in recent times Vayne has followed her Korean brethren much more,buying the infamous Or the accursed child of Sated devourer known as

A meta filled with tanks that deal damage don't really matter since Vayne can rip them to shreds with her true silver bolt,she kites like a monster and thanks to 2 AD steroids she also deals with squishes easily,her self peel kit design makes her very hard to touch when your melee,her stealth can deal with some assassins so as long as you don't attack the moment you enter stealth

and just one last thing,my preferred Vayne build is as the core items,slap some boots and the last 2 are defensive items
