First impression plants.

So, just played a game and I gotta say, not REALLLY a fan of the new plants. Watched my Shyvana chasing down a long range target only for them to sustain heavily in the river. Saw some people effortlessly escape with blasting cone. And the reveal thing is... erm.... IDK kinda weird.

HONESTLY, I just see plants as a reason NOT to chase, therefore reducing interactions. I feel like the blasting plants in particular could be used in way more negative ways than positive ones. Trolling, giving dashes to people who shouldnt have them, and harming the chase potential of a LOT of champions seem to outweigh the benefits of always escaping because of random plants... which uh... is kind of lame. It makes playing around champions' particular skill sets kind of useless. If I am playing Udyr or Shyvana, I should be able to chase down people at long range and I should be able to gauge my ability to catch them based on who I am chasing. Plants seem to kind of undermine hard earned understanding of the game.

Just my impression. One game with plants. Will play with them more I guess....

Like every major change.

Yeah chasing with blasting cone was made harder, because player that is escaping will always get to hit them first.

On the other hand, if you play Udyr or Shyv in question, you can use them to clear a wall and bypass a ward that way "J4 style" - making their lack of mobility less of an impairment when in comes to ganking.

Hoping this get's a high spot on the boards, absolutely true, the problem is that champions designed not to have outs, like tanks, juggernauts, and fighters now have the out that was denied to their kit in certain situations because of an RNG element. Seriously a Malphite shouldn't be safe after he makes the mistake of getting caught out in your jungle taking your blue, only because he can jettison away on a blast cone to safety. Riot even said, assassins and some marksmen have outs, fighters and tanks don't. That's fine, but when i see a caught out amumu, mundo, pantheon, or gangplank escaping me as Wukong or Kha-zix because they can right click on a plant to make my gapclosers totally worthless it really detracts from the skill dynamic of the game and hurts my enjoyment of it.
