Forgeting to pick smite

Seriously, Riot, it happens... What can you do? There should be an option if there's no smite in team, the player that's assigned jungler can change a summoner spell to smite. Or at least buy the jungle items

I was 5 level behind for fks sake. Some champions is impossible. Please fix this riot, it not fair

Or maybe people could pay just a bit of attention?

If people did that, then my bot lane would ganked like 80% less.

But yeah, it's freaking smite. If you're jungler couldn't notice they didn't have such an important spell....I don't know, just, oh my God.

It happends, 1 in 400 games. But it's the worst experience ever with some champions. They simply can't get farm and level and even decent ganks.

To stay behind, being flamed by the team, be lvl 3 while the lanes are lvl 7 and helplessly watch how you lose because 1 retarded mistake is the worst feeling ever. I just had an opossing jungler that would mock me like he was good stealing my camps .. and he was a total noob that missed half his ww ulties.

Because you never forgot anythign in your life ever.

We get so much time in Champ select. People sometimes complain of it can't be reduced. Yeah i sometimes forget stuff, but Not if im looking at it for multiple minutes.

You can forget your trinket and riot will give you one upon leaving base, forget your smite and you have a free loss.

Weird thing though, i tend to win the games in which i forget smite, like some sort of laugh at me being so bent out of shape about forgetting it. :D .i dont reccomend it just saying.

I don't. I play nidalee mostly and the games are lost. I can't kill the jungle camps and trail behind all game

Cheers to riot for letting this retarded thing happen.

i had this happen as kayn, here is what i did one, i had tp on, so i used that when i could 2, got item 3302 and upgraded to item 3097 when i could 3, i was kayn so i took chickens as my only jg camp, i roamed heaps 4, took crab when i could and camped a lot to abuse not having to clear and just tried to get my others ahead so it didnt matter when i fell behind

It's an idea, but it gives the other jungler too much freedom. Also staying in lane you split lane XP. It's a shitty experience for the whole team and should be fixed one way or another

i never stayed in one lane, plus i frequently played agressive to get our lanes ahead to make up for their jungler having lots of farm

I recently had match where I forgot smite as jungle eve. It was an absolutely awful experance. Every second was pure suffering. I should have just taken relic and gone top.

In Blind Pick, the system can't detect on who's the actual jungler. They don't check the chatbox for verification. And saying things like "If someone's playing Sejuani, who's obviously a jungler, the system should automatically give her Smite", what if he wants to play Sejuani top?

In Draft Pick, there's always a chance of wanting to lane swap, so again, the system is still faulty. But one way of doing this properly is by having a Trade system for roles.

Also want to point out that in Draft pick, you have a lot of ample time to recheck your Summoner spells even during Pick & Ban phase, so I suggest you pay extra attention to the screen instead of Alt+Tabbing out before your turn.

I'm talking about ranked. In blind, it's a game, you move one, bad experience, but in ranked you destroy the game for 4 people and yourself, that's wasting at least 2 games to be just on the same spot

Yes, it's not perfect but it's something at least and you get a choice. Atm, it's really not ok. Sure it sounds silly, but it happens. I did in that game, and I had others on my side and opposition.

I don't know why there is resistance and negativity about this and people find it ok for a game to be doomed by a simple mistake, yet they constantly complain about snowballing. Doesn't it sound a little hypocritical?

I get, you should pay attention first hand, but then again to be force lose a game for a simple mistake it's kinda harsh don't you think? And look, if me or the person who forgets smite is the only one punished by LP lose, you could say is a retribution. But should the team suffer? Should we add already to toxicity in this game or try to fix things?
