Can any new champion be automatically banned from ranked play (maybe only for any player under diamond but can be for all ranks) for the first 2 weeks or their release? these 2 weeks would at least allow for the champion to be tested in normals, rotating game modes and custom games in order to get a feel for them. Plus the second week after any new champion release is when they are in the FOTW meaning every player can test them out if they wanted to.

- the PBE is a closed environment where not everyone can just access whenever they want.
was pretty easy for me. Joined years ago, just gotta make sure you give good feedback
- the PBE while yes it is early access, it is access to unrefined (to an extent) champions. there is no guarantee that they will be the same on release.
some people are more adaptable
- there is a major difference between watching and doing. Pilots do not get to fly commercial planes just because they watched a few youtube videos on how to do it. You can't get a driver's license until you take some form of instructional course and pass a few tests along with a log of hours practiced while under supervision (at least in NY).
