Look it's cute and all but singed regening 50+ HP a second is incredibly frustrating and boring. I'd be fine with some form of frustration that I could outplay but you literally can do nothing about this in particular.

I should add: I do agree the passive should probably be unique, and almost wonder if it was an oversight more than anything else that it wasn't unique to begin with. Just pointing out that there isn't 'nothing you can do about it'

Executioner's calling on most AD tops like Darius is kind of a joke. I agree to the post; just make the item be a unique passive.

Singed with 3 seals = profit for singled Darius with executioners = not profitable Singed = double profit because he made a champion build executioners calling when that champion would never ever build it..
hard to explain but I hope you get the idea... it delays Darius far more than it does singed, and quite frankly, Darius would lose out far more with his item choice than singed.
Zielmann2 votesI don't see adaptation as a bad thing. Until the passive becomes unique, the counter to the dark seal spam is available, and for super cheap, too. If you don't want to build to counter your lane opponent, that's your choice. Just because you bought EC doesn't mean you have to upgrade it to Mortal Reminder later on, if that's not something in your desired final build. Just hang onto it for laning phase until you need the slot, and then sell it.

Zielmann5 votesStats +100 mana +15 ability power +25% increased healing from Health Potion, Refillable Potion, Corrupting Potion, and Hunter's Potion.
Each dark seal increases the healing from potions. Since it's not unique, Singed players are stacking them in the top lane so they can out-sustain any opponent in lane. The reason for it being an issue on Singed more than most other champs is that Singed also gets HP from the mana on each of the dark seals, so he's actually getting a decent amount of HP off them, too.

This is hardly an argument. The appropriate singed build is 4 dark seals, which is a grand total of... 100 health. Wow. That's definitely what's making it op, let's be honest.
Singed just happens to do very well with potion + dark seal stacking because he constantly goes back to refill the potion, not because he gets health from it.
Zielmann1 votesAre you arguing that Singed doesn't benefit more from dark seal spam than any other champion that might be tempted to take it? Cause last I checked, the base stats for 4 seals applies the same to everybody, but only singed gets HP for Mana. As far as stats go, 100 HP > 0 HP. The only other champion that gets something extra for Mana is Ryze, but he's probably far better off getting RoA and Tear stacking as early as possible, and spamming dark seals would only delay those.
Not saying the HP he gets is what makes it obnoxious. I was just pointing out why it's cropped up as a thing, particularly on Singed.
Backup4now1 votes1400 gold for 100 hp bonus hp from them. That's about 260 gold extra efficiency. Not only is that completely insignificant (akin to saying Frozen Heart is good cuz lol gives 100 hp), but it's also his fucking ENTIRE PASSIVE! That's a garbage passive! He's sacrificing an entire passive slot to get, at most, 300 extra health from items if he actually built several mana items or a tear. The 100 health is not even an upgrade on him compared to, say, a damaging passive that helps him scale the AP the seals give even more (50 extra damage in a rotation, for example, would be far superior to that 100 health).
So, no, if we look at the actual context in which Singed's kit synergizes with multiple dark seals, the 100 health is completely irrelevant. It's entirely rooted in the fact that he backs often to get lots of corrupting potions.

woodvsmurph1 votesHave you tried talon or lee sin top? Talon prob has enough damage and slow to run down and kill singed for proxy farming. Lee has great execute damage and a slow. But I agree, it has to be a unique passive because it is just plain stupid right now.
