Can an ADC main explain to me why tripple crit > lifesteal?
I can't see your damage when you're grey screen...
I can't see your damage when you're grey screen...
Better late game, as youre doing over double your ad with a crit
Again, i'd love to see that while you lose 80% of your HP from the initial start of a team fight then try to dps with 20% of your hp for the remaining part of the team fight.
Sounds like a personal problem. Study the enemy composition; know their resources, read their builds and be aware of the fact that yes, you're important to the enemy team and to yours as an ADC.
Both are viable; both have different playstyles, both have counters... of course, it is not out of the realm of possibility that someone might adapt better to lifesteal tactics than crit tactics.
Why not both, though?
That sounds more like a positioning problem than an itemization problem. Building full tank so I can stand on the frontline as an adc isn't a great idea either. This isn't to say getting a GA third item vs zed is a bad idea, its just saying that their positioning might be more at fault if they're taking that much damage initially.
Its just dumb.. why not at least get a
after your first 2 crit items?
Sometimes that isn't feasible. Not only will it take up an item slot so you'll start having to sit on a huge amount of gold to finish an item, its also 900 gold for something that really isn't going to make the difference most of the time. The 10% lifesteal won't save you if you get caught, its more for sustain outside of the fight. It can be a good pickup in certain situations, but on the whole it isn't efficient. Especially if they brought warlords.
Disagree completely.. Back in season 4
almost always followed after
before completing the old
.. It lets you sustain in the fight after taking damage.. If an argument can be made for
to make a huge difference in a fight, then so can
.. Its 900 gold, 10% lifesteal on top of the dorans 3.. plus if u take vampirsm in the offensive tree you have 15% lifesteal.. Thats a big enough difference to call #Worth.
Season 4 has a completely different context. The game was totally different. There was a time when BT rush was the go-to. Now, that doesn't fly except maybe on Draven. You can't compare it across seasons because the context and the game around it has changed.
Executioners has a much larger effect than vamp if you're getting it early. Cutting 40% of a level 2 Mundo ult is 300-600 health, plus if you have hurricane and it gets people getting healed by redemption or soraka or w/e, its massive. Just mundo alone is a 500 health difference. Thats quite a good value for 800 gold. You could get two long swords for that price, but thats only 20AD. Assuming you have 2 Attacks/Second (Which is entirely unrealistic), you still need about 21 seconds to get that amount of damage assuming you're only getting Mundo and no extra regen outside of his ultimate (so no base regen/passive).
There is a place for an early vamp scepter, but its niche for a reason.
Honestly it depends, i mostly get Life steal after my first crit item.
at the elo you're in they probably trust their support enough to heal/shield most of the incoming damage that's flung their way, thus can afford to invest into more crit and as over some defensive sustain or resistances at least.
