Being placed in autofill when other players dodge

I went through queue three times because of three consecutive dodges and was autofilled. Not only a waste of my time, but didn't get the role I wanted. Am I the only one who thinks it is unfair to be placed in autofill because other players dodge? Or maybe team game also means team suffering even before you are arranged as an actual team.
