this joke is getting old she is antifun to play against and as and she have been stated for a rework a long time ago so why riot doesn't nerf her? they nerfed hard every champ in list for a rework so why not irelia? she is pure cancer

She actually has to build damage/defense to be strong/tanky, and her only CC requires her to be relatively low on HP to have the full effect. She has no range aside from her underwhelming ult. She actually has to time her dash to be able to go great distances with it. Her passive is pretty awesome, but I hardly think that justifies your claims.
ContagiousMe2 votesIrelia should have her 2 second stun changed to 1.5 or increase the cooldown of her stun. The cooldown is 8 seconds across the board. They should make it 14/12/10/8 depending on levels. If you have cdr items the stun goes down to about 4.7 seconds. A 2 SECOND STUN up every 4 seconds is OP.

You must be new here to not know that Irelia has been nerfed, I want to say seven times? Some of the older guys will talk about Heart+Irelia = GG. Heart was removed, Irelia was nerfed.
Why is she dominant now? She was unplayed for so long, people forgot how to counter her.
Btw... I hope you get cancer so you can more greatly appreciate that it's a terrible disease and stop using it to describe a video game character.

mvargus2 votesI'm always amazed by how quickly people demand nerfs around here. I picked Irelia up as a top lane after trying her during her free week and I'd maintain that she's not OP. She's good, but as another poster said, she doesn't have dominant damage or CC. Her sustain can probably give some players fits, but even that isn't going to ruin the game.
I always end up wondering if the people like the OP here just ran into a champ that beat them hard and they are using this forum to try to remove the champ they couldn't defeat. Honestly, there are at least 4 other top laners I fear more than Irelia.
Can't speak on the nerf pattern though. I've had people tell me that she got hit with a nerf bat in 7 straight patches at some point, but I have no way to confirm that.

A combination of almost-oppressive damage, almost-oppressive CC, and almost-oppressive sustain will usually making something oppressive.
