A Tahm nerf I hope we might be able to look into...

What if we change his W from dealing health based on the total amount we have, to dealing damage based on the health we have at the moment? That way, we don't have to be harassed by his W in late game dealing 32% (or more) of our max health.

To be fair. His W is Single target, requires 3 hits and if used for offense he loses an EXTREMELY powerful defensive ability.

Which is why it deals so much. Because it has to in order to be worth it

This. But it's also important to note that Tahm Kench has an extremely situational ultimate, so most of his strength are in his QWE skills.
Generally speaking, most of the top supports like Janna, Thresh, Lulu, Leona, Nami get a huge spike in teamfights through their ultimate, while Tahm might help one of your teammate who's late to join the skirmish faster.

True. But I think alot of the ults power budget isn't in the teleport part but the on-hit magic damage.

With a cinderhulk I've gotten it up to 300+ damage which isn't anything to laugh at considering it's 300 damage added on to q w and auto attacks.

That's at 6 items when everyone has probably built mr and/or the tanks have realized that it's time to peel the shit out of you

Oh I agree. I'm not saying he's broken I actually think he's quite balanced.

Was just saying that's where I think the power budget of his ult is at.

That is one of those numbers that are cool on paper but not effective. A little like Thresh getting 100-150 bonus magic damage on hit, yet no matter what you never accomplish anything with that damage because by the time you harvested all those souls teamfight are really fast due to how everyone else has scaled.

Not saying that TK damage is bad, even only 1 bonus damage helps win a game, but it's not the main strength of Tahm Kench

Ah. But you see your vastly underestimating tahm ult.

A standard q AA q W combo is 4 attacks.

That's easily a cool 800 magic damage added by his ult. All in the span of a second or so.

Threshs attack not only has to be charged but also gets used in 1 attack. Tahm doesn't

I've attacked an adc 6+ times in a team fight that's 1200 damage ur getting into burst mage territories at that point all with an ability that has no cooldown and only gets stronger the longer the game goes.

You mean AA Q AA W, right? and anyway, while that surely deals damage, and that's nice and all, I think that your team will benefit more from the fact that you are preventing their adc to attack than from the damage you deal. I mean, 800 seems a big number for a support, but by the time you deal that damage the APC can deal more than that with a single Q, maybe AoE.

No its q AA q.

If a adc let's you into range of them without you slowing them first. They are bad...really really bad...

Knight Devout1 votes

And how do you land 2 q in less than a second?

Jorencice1 votes

Okay maybe it's longer than a second ^-^ think it's 3.

And the longer the fight goes on. The more he deals.

Contrary to your opinion, informed as it may be, Tahm Kench does not have a monopoly on "more damage the longer the fight goes on". A rather large percentage of League's champions specialize in (or are at least stronger in) long and drawn out brawls.

Jorencice1 votes

I never said he had the monopoly on that...

Hell this entire thread I was just trying to explain that I think most of his ults power budget is spent on the on-hit magic damage...

PrometheS1 votes

He doesn't need any more nerfs at all.

He can keep his damage. Nerf the fucking E. His E has no downside to it at all other than pressing it too late. There's no counterplay other than CC him long enough that he dies before pressing it which is extremely ridiculous.
