Riots not going to Release simple champions anymore and here's why

Simple Champions are INCREDIBLY difficult to balance, look at alistar he's not really broken, but they had to give him a 70%!!!!!!!!!!! damage reduction on his ult , just for him to become viable again. Why? Because alistars to simple to balance, you either give him a shit ton power in something and if they dont that champion becomes crap because you can't outplay someone with several different combos. Its always the same thing over and over with them, there are no other strategys to play the champion. They do X and thats it. Now when champions have several different things in there kits and there kits are complicated, surprisingly enough as many of you are not aware THEY ARE EASIER TO BALANCE! Ikr shocking? Why are they easier to balance? Because they dont need huge numbers of whatever in there kits to be viable they just need outplay potential and when they have many options, they can do that, and easily beat an enemy just because they're good at the champion, not because that champion has super huge numbers. Though some people are gonna be like "EKKO THOUGH!", he's an assassin, though I do believe he shouldn't have a heal and that shield, the damage he has is fine since he's an assassin and he's suppose to burst you.

ALl champions cause balance problems on release, Ekko is still sorta currently a problem the rest were balanced very quickly and I considered all of them to be fairly balanced, some argue kalista isn't but thats just because they think she's annoying.

yeah thats right kits that are complicated in use and require you to do much to use them fully are indeed easier to ballance because instead of numbers ... its the player who decides how strongthe thing is while simple things's power is proportional to the numbers, skill of the player behind the screen goes to the second plan

OP is partially correct— more complex champion have more balance levers. If one specific part of a complex champion's kit is problematic, it's far less harmful to the champion as a whole to nerf that one aspect than it would be to nerf one part of a simple champion's kit.

What detracts from OP's argument is the fact that Riot tends to release complex champions with numbers that are too high— each mechanic can be just as effective as one from a simple champion's kit, but the more complex champion simply has more mechanics. Although these extra abilities/passives/etc. are gated by particular play patterns (ex: three-hit passives), they are still relatively easy to access (few champions in League are truly hard to play), making them absolute advantages over older champions that have been nerfed for "noninteractive" play patterns (ex: top lane Alistar).
