Riot seems to think players are enjoying this patch, but based on what evidence?

Maybe I'm just not looking in the right places, but everywhere you look on the forums there are multiple posts everyday with upvotes saying they're unhappy with the current state of the game, and many people hoping it gets reverted. Yet Riot says in their news that they are happy with the changes and how its going and only plans on making a few small tweaks? Maybe I can't see all the preseason fans that they're talking about, or maybe they are delusional.

Have you read forums or comments before? Pretty much all they are is people complaining. People just like to complain. I wouldn't look to the boards as evidence of any overall discontent.

Boards is completely filled with low elo players who are always complaining about anything and everything. I would not doubt that you are also low elo.

Simply put the amount of people who are unsatisfied with the patch isn't even a fraction of the community as a whole, to add to this the reason why it also seems like alot is because by comparison no one really feels like expressing how much they enjoy the patch as it's a pointless act so all you end up seeing is the small amount of negative feedback.

People have complained about the game since launch...but they are still here aren't they? Don't look into it so deep. People will always complain about something.
