Can we give some love to supports?

I am talking about the actual supports ( ) Supports, that were intended to be supports. How many times did they gut solo lane lulu like a fish because she wasnt intended to solo lane. Yet there is absolutely no penalty to going kill lane bot. I get put against vayne and cait as janna. Was i doing decent, yes. But post 6 was very hard for me for two reasons. 1- Vayne is stupid right now Vayne has a very strong 6 and caits ult can just finish the scraggler. 2- Regardless of who got the kill they became very dangerous, either way and assists give gold too. There isn't a whole lot of incentive to go a meta support because of how easily outclassed they can be. Not to mention 2 adcs can melt tower easily and acquire first tower blood. Let's make supports great again (Too soon?)
