I still don't want voice chat.

I get that you can mute people you don't want to hear. I get that you don't have to use it. The problem comes when you are at a severe disadvantage when not using voice chat because you lack the communication that your team can give you. Not everyone wants to talk to others in the game, not everyone wants/can afford a good setup for talking to people, not everyone can talk to other people in the environment that they play video games, etc etc.

"Just type in chat then" This doesn't always work though. In Overwatch if 5/6 people on a team are in VC then the single guy left out gets literally 0 information as to what is going on. People will type in chat "go on VC insert insult" and refuse to type any more. This doesn't happen every time, but if it happens 10% of the time, that's 10% of the games you play that you are at a large disadvantage in.

What happens in solo queue is completely different than pro play.

Adding voice chat won't suddenly make certain champions god tier, even if you had a pro player in solo queue they aren't going to constantly tell you how to play your champion and what to do, especially pros whom aren't know for their shot calling.

Pros players play solo queue as a casual but competitive side for their gaming, a pro player isn't going to sit their and beg you to play Tahm Kench because they want to try hard against random people in solo queue, no they'll let you play whatever you want and every now and then give tips.

But even the best shot callers fuck up sometimes so yeah.

i watch rtz and singsing stream and see the communication and envy them as i would like high elo league games to be like in high elo dota games

tahm kench sucks all the dicks in the planet because there isn't voice chat and overall communication tahm kench is one of the most picked champion in pro

riot has troubles to balance soloq vs lcs it's time to make soloq a bit like in lcs by improving teamplay

That's fine if you don't want it. However, the overwhelming evidence so far from other mobas like dota is that voice chat adds far more to the community than it takes away.

There will always be unreasonable people who are against any change no matter what the evidence shows. It is beyond the point where we can justify not adding voice chat just because a small minority of players are still concerned about it.

No matter what the evidence shows? What evidence is there to refute the fact that many league players would be unable, or uncomfortable (in my case) talking to total strangers through voice chat? I know it may be hard for you to believe, but there are tons of people, myself included, that find even the slightest verbal communication, terrifying. To require people to do something that terrifies them to play a game, is not only idiotic, but cruel. If voice chat were to be added to the game, EVERYONE, regardless of their reservations, would have to use it, or else lose most games. How is that fair? How could any of the benefits voice chat supposedly grants other mobas, possibly outweigh the significant negative influence it would have on a decent sized chunk of the player base? Simply put, it can't. The benefits to the couple champions that are particularly team reliant, are miniscule when compared to the drastic drop in winrates for all those that don't use voice chat. Let me explain. Tahm Kench, a champion infamous for his team reliance, is currently sitting at a 46.33% win rate that climbs to about 54% after 201+ games with him according to champion.gg. Shen is a similar case, with a 47.74% win rate that climbs to about 54% after only 51 games. These statistics are hardly terrifying for the Kench or Shen main, yet for some reason, others in this forum seem to think it is. Why is that? Yes, these champions would see an increase in winrate (let's say 5%?) if voice chat were implemented, but the corresponding drop in win rate for players like me (I feel 10% is a fairly conservative estimate) far outweighs that. Voice chat would ruin the game, not fix it.
