To all you new players out there

I am not omnipotent. I likely won't guess you're new to the game until I see you play. Now I might get frustrated, but after a while it becomes obvious how new you are, at which point I try my damned best to help. But for some god damned reason. You all REFUSE to talk. I've been playing a couple of years now, and while I'm not challenger, I could damn well give you some tips and pointers, but you HAVE TO FUCKING TELL ME. I'm not a mind reader, but I'd like to say I'm pretty understanding, so if you just say: "Sorry, I'm new to this game, not really sure how to (jg adc supp mid top)", THEN I'LL HELP YOU OUT.

I know the new player system is absolute shit, and I know the community can be quite startling, but if you refuse to even explain your situation, then I have absolutely no pity for you. I'm ready to help you if you are ready to ask for it.

I feel your pain.

However, that is definitely a double-edged sword (and I don't mean the mastery).

I'm very glad that you are kind, understanding, and willing to help, but may people will rage at "newbies", or at the least grief and blame them for anything that doesn't go well.

It is basically like setting themselves up to be the scapegoat.

I suppose. Ultimately though I'm not sure if that will ever fix anything for them

Sorry, but you're the minority of this community. When people get trashed and mocked and insulted constantly and the only thing they can look forward to is "hey maybe in a couple dozen games I'll get a nice understanding teammate", they're quickly going to learn to keep it to themselves.

That's depressing....

I'd wager a good amount of those people are bots, which is why they aren't talking.

You sound like you need theory.

See i usually try to help the newbies (sorry if that sounds rude) but they always take it as "blame" or "toxicity". I undertand that theres people that have flamed them before so they probably take most advice as flaming, i main mid and support so when i see someone silent and building wrong i assume they are new to the character or the role, i usually tell them what to build. like if its Nami i would say "hey nami can you please builditem 3504 or any other healing item to help us during team fights?" they instantly go on all chat and say "we're losing, and team is blaming me". like NOBODY blamed you, i KINDLY asked to build this item for heals. either that or they remain quiet not having any input on what you said.

The reason nobody will ever get the helpful ribbon on their profile
