So, which junglers other than WW, Panth & Fiora benefit from the new jungle?

List of junglers who got destroyed: Hecarim, Sejuani, Kha Zix, Jax,

List of junglers who rose up: WW, Panth, Fiora, Yi

Tendency: Junglers with very low skillcap also became incredibly efficient.

sion does remarkably well. Nautilus is good. Xin zhao does well and somewhat counters ww at early levels. Shaco was "buffed" significantly due to the new jungle, like it's not even funny how well he does in the new jungle. Rengar still does fine, as does Kha Zix. Hecarim and Sejuani aren't too bad, you just have to get red buff a bit early into your first clear, which is a bit annoying. Yi is gutted by the new jungle. Fiora should never be a junglier. Nunu/fiddle are ridiculously good.

most jungles still work fine with creative routes. Panth and ww just excel in it much like lee sin, kha'zix, and elise did amazingly in the jungle of patch 4.10. Premeir jungles just change over time. there's no underlying tendency and for the champions who are broken (see "warwick") that's what bans are for. I honestly like the new jungle and don't see a huge problem with it. It's just different than any other jungle that has existed in league. Which isn't a bad thing at all.

Sejuani is really bad.

Because you can rush level 3 in the new jungle, you really have no problem. just start gromp - Blue buff - wolves and you're level 3 with 2 points in your W or E = clearing No problem.

If your actually jungling with Sej jungle your doing it wrong. Get Stalkers and get your lanes fed ASAP

FrozenIndustry1 votes

Stalker's is a complete waste not just on Sej, but on most champs in general. Risking your summoner 11 for a gank that might not even end in a kill isn't worth it, considering how important the camp buffs are, and how poor her clearing ability currently is. That, and she has more than enough CC when ganking already, Stalker's is just overkill and a waste of gold. Ranger's is the only real choice for her.

Ranger's is so much better for Sejuani. More clearing faster means more health, more mana, and more ganks.

Plus, it's not like she even cares about a slow on a 60 second cooldown.

Fiora jung is actually pretty good right now. She can actually bring a CC to a gank with Stalkers blade or if her lanes are doing well she can get a Skirmishers towards late game. She has better first clear than most right now... Which is a little sad.

"Nautilus is good."

Waaahhhh?

Agreed with most of what you said, but Nautilus is not good right now. His shield breaks in like 3 hits and he loses all his damage to new monsters.

Gromp

FrozenIndustry1 votes

Even when starting Gromp, he's not in a good place. His clear is pathetic until you can get your jungle item, and even then it's still pretty rough.

I really don't understand why people say Naut is bad now, I wasn't using him for a while because of that talk but after suing him myself, I've found he's actually pretty good in comparison to others, in one game I was actually able to clear my entire jungle without backing, gank, and kill wolves and gromp again..

Run AS runes

FrozenIndustry2 votes

AS reds on Naut have been the standard since back in S2. He still has a hard time even with them. The problem is that Naut's main form of damage is tied to his shield, and the shield pops in under 1-2 seconds on the first clear of the new jungle. He also has some pretty weak base stats for a tank.

Rengar and Xin are my personal favorites ATM. They both have fantastic synergy with a stalker>warrior>ghostblade path.

Kuroi861 votes

I wonder how that would work on Kha'Zix.

Worgslarg1 votes

On kha I would prob go for a black cleaver instead of a ghostblade.

Kuroi861 votes

But but but!!! I love the active on Ghostblade :{ Bah, guess I gotta go with the axe then. xD

Volibear is better now. I noticed no one has mentioned him. It seems like most junglers that were left out in the cold because they weren't spectacular early gankers are now quite good, especially if they have any kind of sustain.

Aatrox, amumu, chogath, diana (holy shit diana), elise (change in jungle items among other things), fiddle, gragas, kha'zix, maokai, nasus, nautilus, nunu, olaf, pantheon, shaco, shyvanna, sion, skarner, trundle, udyr, volibear, warwick, xin zhao, and zac. Basically every jungler that was not meta before and even for a few of the meta junglers these changes were good. The only ones who have a not really benefitted from it are lee, j4, evelynn, yi and every other random shit you threw into the jungle like riven or katarina. Sure some got too much from the new jungle but it is generally a buff to most junglers as it became harder to do the early ganks and snowball everything from there.

Skia Asteri2 votes

Evelynn benefits greatly from the itemization changes (stalker blade for an early slow makes for much stronger ganks, and the AP jungle item gives a much better early power spike), but the tougher jungle really punishes her for falling behind. She already had a lot of issues when behind in the old jungle. And it feels like successfully ganking early has far less impact on the out come of the game.

Sejuani is fine in the new jungle. You're playing her wrong if you're getting destroyed, LOL.

champs that can effectively use devourer are in great shape atm (udyr, yi)

sustain champs in general are in great shape atm (fiddle, olaf)

They all benefited from the jungle and became much more powerful picks. Maybe more of I forgot some.

I've heard Elise mains say they've been struggling on her. I've also noticed first-hand Fiora doesn't do quite as well either. Not to mention they unjustifiably nerfed Fiora's ult anyways.

Tsunday2 votes

As somebody who hardcore sucks at jungling I've actually found Elise to be quite fine in the new jungle. As for Frioa, they buffed her ult pre-teamfight as it does more damage when hitting the same target over and over, which is good for jungle ganking. Not only that but Fiora is good at taking the new dragon because of her parry which is very important in jungling nowadays.

Emmy Cha0s1 votes

They nerfed the base damage on Fiora's ult. She always does less than before against multiple people, yes. However, just to break even against a single target, she needs to be stacking large AD items. She can't do that whilst jungling.

WeG1 votes

Why can't she? I'm rocking 637 AD @ level 18 with 40% crit 40% CDR 30 (and 6%) armor pen, and 40% lifesteal. This is my Fiora Jungle build.

Emmy Cha0s1 votes

Congratz, that's 6 items. I applaud you for reaching 70 minutes. Most games don't go nearly that long.

Meep Man1 votes

Define struggle. Are they healing and being able to live as much as the old jungle? No. But due to her Spider Form W sustain, she has the sustain advantage in the new jungle.

Chaotic Reks1 votes

Trundle. Can clear his whole jungle starting at gromp with no leash and only 2 health pots.

SmokingPuffin1 votes

Diana loves the new jungle. She's fast, she doesn't take much damage, she clears to 6 and then can spam ganks. Dramatically better for her.

Elise is really good at clearing 3 camps and then ganking. Not many junglers do this well anymore, it's a powerful ability.

Nunu is probably going to be broken after the PBE changes. So much money for eating the big monsters with Poacher's. Don't even kill the small mobs in your own jungle, just eat the big ones in both.

CaRTeLKiLLa1 votes

Ive been doing pretty well with Jax except he has a few problems - Devourer does not give sustain as Feral Flare did so I feel pretty much shoehorned into rushing a Cutlass and eventually BOTRK and being squishy for most of the game since Trinity Force is pretty much a must-have item on him. He does have the perk of being able to automatically outduel pretty much every other auto-attack based jungler even if they are a bit ahead of him. Warwick, Udyr, Rengar, Yi and Xin all get crushed by him 1on1. If you get an early gank and hit 6 first you can pretty much take control of the other team's 2nd set of buffs. Also he is impossible to counterjungle, if the enemy jungler tries to ambush you while you're farming you will just dodge their attacks then annihilate them with your stacked passive. Even if you can't finish them them you can just jump to a ward while your teammates close in on them. Also when you firstpick him in draft the enemy team automatically assumes you are top and picks a strong early game champion that doesnt scale well, leaving your team open to counterpick them for an easy top lane.

Vi. She was good then, and is still good now.
