why play tryndamere when we have jax

better 1v1 his ulti doesn't require to have 1 hp left tryndamere aoe slow? yes when the enemy is turned behind jax has an aoe stun jax isn't countered so hard by ignite or kiting thanks to his point and click gap gloser followed by his stun he has a lot of burst potentential which makes him good also in the tf and gets free attack speed plus he has hybrid damage

why play either of them when you can play poppy

Because Tryndamere has much higher damage, can't die for 5 seconds, has mobility that does not require a target (and reduces it's cooldown by attacking), and can remove 80 AD in a large AoE, severely cutting enemy adc and bruisers damage.
