What if Akali/Kat were given something like Jhin's Passive that converted Spell Vamp into some other stat, such as movement speed, AP/AD, CDR that can exceed the cap, or if it was like Kalista where buying the item improves their passive?

I realize that's a super vague "what if", I'm just trying to get a feel for how valuable spell vamp itself is.

I don't dislike that idea, but at the same time, Akali was always a niche assassin with sustain. I don't really think that her unique role should be changed and I'm glad her sustain carried over with her rework, even if it's incredibly toned down compared to pre rework Akali. (she has a lot more power in other ways now so im okay with it being toned down.)

With Kat, she only started using Gunblade after her rework, before she would rush Luden's first item, and she doesn't have any built in sustain that I know of. So it's more doable imo, but still i don't think it's a good idea, I think she still values sustain over anything else it would give her.
