Guide: How to Support a mordekaiser

So Recently i started to climb a smurf into master by only playing a support+mordekaiser

Since malicious posted a thread on Mordekaiser botlane, a lot of questions were about which support should someone pick with mordekaiser, and how to play against various other supports I dedicate this thread to answer to those questions

Which support should you pick Mordekaiser can work with almost every supports. However the playstyle won't be the same, generally you will have 2 kind of supports: Enchenters: . Enchenters are a passive lane, you generally want to avoid any lane fighting while sustaining+poking with mordekaiser. Enchenters are actually strong, but only in teamfight. Winning a 2v2 with them+morde is actually hard unless you poked them a lot before You might want to take as combined with windspeaker you're going to heal a lot especially that mordekaiser heals a lot with W+R and I recomand taking them against heavy disengage botlane like Morgana or (maybe) Janna DO NOT PICK JANNA. Her anti-poke is meh compared to the others, while her poke is trash. She doesn't have a lot of range, and Janna actually pokes by adding AD to her ADC, but mordekaiser can't make use of this as he's a melee not ranged Additionally, Janna provides only disengage except a small slow on W. She pushes enemies away with ult and this makes mordekaiser a very sad boy.

Wardens: Wardens are what you use to win the lane. They're worse than enchenters in teamfight but stronger supports in 2v2 (with morde) i highly recommand to build instead of as mordekaiser needs to last hit every minions for his xp passive. Generally i don't recommand Braum because his all-in is worse and right now he's worse than other supports. Same thing with Leona, i don't find them tanky at all as you need to rush even on wardens, and this delays your tankiness power a lot on the other hand i find the others tankier even while going for redemption. I also wouldn't recommand Thresh because his engaging+his nuke is way worse than blitzcrank nautilus or alistar. He depends on ult to nuke which has 150 sec cd, his hook delay makes it worse than blitz/naut and his early 2v2 is somewhat worse for 2 reasons: 16 base armor, 47 base AD. Yes his base AD is low, thresh has a decent poke with E passive but once his E passive is down it becomes complicated to deal damage. I only pick Thresh if they picked someone with an AOE spell to escape from like ult and ult, and i need a lantern for my mordekaiser. I highly recommand against as his hook has less delay than which means caitlyn has less time to use E, and if she uses it she will get grabbed no matter what and waste her E

DO NOT DO THIS AT HOME: Support

In any case, you need most of the time lvl 2 or lvl 3 on all your supports to either poke or all in Example of you need Q+W to poke and counterpoke, if you're blitzcrank you need Q and E of course and maybe W Moral of the story: don't try anything and just play safe, Mordekaiser will farm with E until then

In teamfight, you want to make sure to CC the champion mordekaiser focuses as you need a clone ASAP If you're an enchenter than just throw your boosts on Morde/other allies.
