Does kat really get countered by akali?

I have never EVER lost lane to akali as kat, it's almost always a stomp easy lane. But obviously im low elo so id like some "higher elo" opinions or insight. Because according to champion.gg akali counters her

Kat can win early, aside from that I don't see a reason for alkali to lose past 6 on equal gold.

I feel like Akali wins this one if she plays smart, all she needs to do is dodge daggers, which is perfectly possible on a melees movespeed and hit you with 400 damage autos (read: crap ton of damage autos), saving her W to blink out of your ult.

Having played Katarina a few times and played against Akali a few times recently, Akali's damage is much more reliable and quicker (although I can't say it's much higher).

Akali can leap away from Kat ult with shroud now. I can't see Akali ever losing that matchup after 6 anymore.

Used to be I could win the entire game but post rework its more of who gets ahead pre 6 then after awhile i feel like akali will beat you at all stages because ive gotten ahead of her but she manages to get some kills on enemies and catch up and she usually is able to beat me in a 1v1 after but team fights i win
