With ranked season starting soon and me personally being skeptical to the new idea of being a high ranked in one role but pretty much smurfing in a lower ranked when filled sounding horrible I'm quite skeptical about it.
So given IF it doesn't work out, how long will it take to revert it? Hopefully not a year like the dynamic queue incident.

haaaaaaalp1 votesProbably never. The system while it has its flaws is strictly better than last season. No reason why it would get reverted unless there is some bug preventing it from working.
Will probably need other improvements down the line but we should never go back to single mmr trying to account for 5 roles.
Difference between this and dynamic queue is that dynamic queue actively made ranked a worse experience compared to solo queue while position based mmr is an upgrade to single mmr.
