Zac is still strong, like he's generally always been. He's not overly strong, that's the thing. And anyone at that Challenger-ranking level will have some main that they're extremely good at by the very fact that they've played said champion a lot in addition to the fact they're Challenger-level in terms of playing skill.

Doesnt really change the fact that AP zac DOES do a lot of damage. AP tanks tend to do a lot, take sejauni as an example.

the problem is that you dont expect it, because "tank"

If he builds AP, he's not a tank. And if he's not a tank, he dies incredibly fast. Soooo... If they go full tank, they have no meaningful damage. And if they go in-between for bruiser, they lose on both damage and durability in exchange for a little of both.

And Sej doesn't go AP tank, she goes full tank.

That's not even slightly close to a tank. Both of them are incredibly squishy if they build some sort of dumb crap like that.

No... theyre... really not dude o.O' with the secondary tank they have naturally high ultity and base stats. Also, that build is one that challenger jungle main nightblue3 uses (for the most part. honestly cant remember what boots he gets.) so.... yeaaaah.

Yes they're meant to be a tank and thus have high bases. Your builds still give almost no meaningful extra health, as well as having no resistances whatsoever. They melt like butter in the sun.

And nightblue3 uses all sorts of weird-ass shit builds. Doesn't make them actually decent in most cases or even most other players. He's also Challenger.

the fact that he CAN do well at the challenger level with off-tanks like this proves that its viable. the champions DO do quite a bit of damage. theyre not overpowered or anything, they just have high damage when you build them AP.

oookay you realize the OP isnt talking about full tank zac, right? He talking about hybrid zac or AP zac... If youre adamant that "A TANK CAN ONLY BE A TANK" then i have nothing more to say to you. It doesnt change the fact that tanks usually have high base damages, average scaling, and very high utility.

And I'm saying OP's complaints are irrelevant.

His damage can be countered with MR or just killing him in like 2-3s. His utility can be countered with good wards and/or just CCing him mid-dash (jump is still a dash, just visual effects).

And most tanks have piss-poor scaling, what are you on?

Idk right now he does feel way to strong (like trinity force rework hecarim strong). I don't even know why or what changed besides his passive duration. He's even a top 10 banned champion in platinum Elo.

he's been crazy for awhile now, it was mostly gragas (who was doing what he does but better) getting nerfed that brought him into the spotlight

He most definitely is. He might not feel like it, because he only got so powerful (or maybe players realized his power?) recently, and vast majority of Zac's out there have very few games on him.

Why is this being down voted lol, Zac clearly is synergizing with a recent change that happened. He does way too much damage for the amount of tank he has. Then again, you put a black cleaver on Darius, Riven, Yasuo, Tryndamere, etc they can then build straight tank and out damage everyone in the game.

The only thing that balances black cleaver in this meta, is a black cleaver in the other hand.
