AP need another AP + armor option

i just got off a pbe game vs a full AD team..

and i built and

but... ther wasnt ANYTHING more i could build while not completely removing an entire item worth of damage form my build

AD can get

and in theory although less effective

while it maybe not be effective to build all of those items at once.. you least you CAN as they have no overlapping unique passives

i CAN'T build multiple to get more armor because of the UNIQUE passive and riot insisting on that passive because so much of the gold cost of said item

and on top of that there is now a RUNE that gives you a shield...

Giving another armor AD option would just be a huge nerf for assassins when assassins already suck.

First off. Edge of night doesn't have Mr. Secondly it's more a problem of ad champions should have less Mr itemization then ap should have more armor itemization. But being fair if you had grabbed some health/ap items that would have been arguably more useful than flat armor items.

What I do for facing all AD comps is build obviously Zhoynas and Tabis (tabis only if I REALLY need it), and then build some health items so that the wall of protection is thickened.

Aka a build I might get for a heavy ad/tank team would be:

item 3157 item 3047 item 3151 item 3116 item 3165 item 3135

So while I only have some armor, I have a good bit of health for them to have to burn through as well, and then I also build either void or rabadons as a last item to still give some burst damage.

Edit: I also have armor runes for all AD comps.

i cant do "armor runes" becuase it was pbe and there ARE no more "armor runes"

i am also playing jungle Nidalee so ONE of those 6 slots is for item 1410

That's your problem. Nidalee is an early game jungler who falls off heavily late game. You needed to win the game before their damage became more than you could deal with.

This is a fair point. Not to mention, even if you don't have armor runes, then build burst.

You have one of two options when you can't deal with damage.
