Does matchmaking feel one sided?
Legit it is one team has a dc or does extremely shit and gets rofl stomped and the other auto wins.

YES. Yes it does. Every game. One team is super fed or has a few select super fed others doing ok. Other team has people going 1/12.
Also turret wise very often one team will not manage to take a single turret for the entirety of the game. Happens way too often to just be random.
Probably has to do with how snowbally this preseason is but thats just my opinion. Seems like the team to get the first 2 turrets without the enemy taking 1 wins the majority of the time.
Legit lost a game bc every lane lost. Won a game bc every lane won Then the game randomly crashes and so we autolose
Idk bro me having an unranked silver season 6 jungler vs a challenger 600 lp jungler doesn’t really feel fair 🤔
Its not matchmaking, its how the game is now.
People of equal skill level might die to one person ONCE in a close fight.
After that they just can't help but feed their ass off.
Please, i play top and mid, completely destroy the lane every game and out roam him while he is being rekt. But i am irrelevant, shoutcaster screaming ''legendary'' each time i get kill is irrelevant, better botlane wins, no matter that jungler ganked 5 times and i ganked 5 times to pull the game up. Better adc will scale up and will be ultra protected by his supports while melting tanks like squshies and 3 shotting others.
Since i don't want to switch to botlane i never felt so hopeless. What the fuck is the point of me playing. Even if we are absolutely winning, its not because of me, i don't even matter no matter how good or bad i play. I should probably still be in the game but that is about it.
P.S. Junglers are also irrelevant, had enemy udyr being 10 0 10 and he wasn't even nearly anything game deciding factor, no matter how good he played, he just got fucked when our botlane hit powerspike from having half worse stats.
I miss the times when game had strategic elements in it.
There are strategic elements it’s just that’s it’s not the same form every season.
You need to stop worrying about your bot lane and understand what the fuck it is you need to do to winn the game.
Hint: it’s not always “keep killing your laner” or “teamfight”
So i will now make the list of things that doesn't even remotely change the game from being lost: murdering toplane, distracting enemy jungler and murdering him too, ganking mid 2 times and bot 4 times and respectively murdering them while visiting top from time to time to push back minnions and murder their toplaner, securing dragons, securing rift heralds, securing towers, securing barons. Catching their adc mid and late game - this one just prolongs the game.
What the fuck i need to do to win this game always is play a decent adc, which i don't want to do, first because i am not an adc main, second one because i want to play what the fuck i want to play, i can't keep changing everything every season, though honestly i break to pressure and just start playing what will 100% win me games every season.
This game has seen so much more strategic place and its shame Riot lets it descend to this, even if its for little bit. They are still always competing with other games, such is a market, and counterpart games having such amazing things and perks, while LoL is losing all of theirs.
Jungle is currently the best role idk what you are smoking.
Plenty junglers can go complete legendary and destroy every lane there is and get every objective there is, they stop mattering if enemy adc has hit powerspike. I literary come from 5 games like this right now. I had some excellent junglers not matter at all

Please don't put "Junglers" there's clearly a problem with Jungle due to invades/camp respawn timers. This makes it incredibly snowbally vs the other jungler. Look at champions like Xin Zhao, Shyvanna that are completely 1 sided with Auto-Attack [Turret Killing Power] as well as [Clear Speed] as well as [Dueling Power] as well as [Invulnerability/Free Stats(shyv)] and CC (Warwick, Jarvan4, Xin).
These combinations make for unplayable jungle matchups, where if 1 jungler gets invaded and killed it's literally over because he will lose all camps and have no way of ever getting back into the game vs a Champ that not only scales harder, but it unkillable from level 1 on. Xin Zhao
This is another reason why you are seeing a shift in meta towards mobile mages in the mid lane. Because Junglers need so much help now because they are constantly being invaded.
100% yes!
Either the games have one person on my team or their team that just should not be playing in ranked, OR, they have a ton of auto fills, first timers, people smurfing, or just plain and simply there is a diamond player in the game and it just completely shuts down the game before it even really starts
This is League of Legends in a Nutshell. If one single person gets ahead, they carry, and they carry hard. There are no comeback mechanics in League of Legends. It's meant to be a game where if you get ahead you can snowball to victory easily. If you get just one or two early kills, you instantly start chunking enemy champions for 40% of their health per hit. This is a game where scaling is massive and just an item or two make the difference between doing 10% of someone's hp per hit, and doing 50% of someone's hp per hit. The closest thing to a comeback mechanic you have is the bounties, which really don't help all that much. 300g for killing someone on a killing spree? that doesn't nearly make up for the amount of kills they likely have gotten and how far ahead they are.
I honestly have to say, even as I play this game, I don't know how this game is so popular. I feel like this game feeds off those pro streamers who steamroll every single match, and drive people to be like "I want to do that!" And they jump into games only to find that the game just isn't like that for a normal, casual player.
Look at my match history.
Last match won because of a 22/2/9 Miss Fortune Match before that, lost because of a 15/1/0 Yasuo Match before that, won because of a 11/2/4 Twitch Match before that, lost because of a 23/1/7 Katarina
This isn't a coincidence. It's how the game works. But it's also not matchmaking. It's the fact that if someone makes an early mistake, then they give their opponent so much power that it snowballs out of control. League of Legends is not and has never claimed to be a fair and balanced game.
Every. Single. Game.
Most have been decided in the first 5 minutes, as often one team has 5+ in that time already, with like, a single jungle gank at level 3-4.
lv 9 alt acc got Matched vs Diamond smurfs while my own team was made out of the toxiest Bronze Players.
This was the third 5v5 pvp match on that alt and my Team was stealing everything they could, calling everyone names and upon death saying stuff like "defend my noobs".
I wonder why new Players go away from the Game Riot ..
No. The problem is that people tend to "forget" the times when the matchmaking helped them. They just assume it was their challenger skills that won them the game and had nothing to do with the matchmaking.
That would imply matchmaking is not working 100% correctly, if it helped them at one point and hurt them at others.
It was the same last season, probably for keeping control over the 50% win ratio thing. Now that there are new more snowballing elements, it's worse.
yeah rofl stomped seen this so many times
LoL @ at the people saying it's not matchmaking. Okay, yes this game is extremely snowbally, but that's not the only reason people can go 30/1/20 in a game. The skill gap accepted is FAR too wide, you can get anywhere from unranked to diamonds or plats in your game, now what do you think is going to happen if you place an unranked vs a diamond or plat? That person is going to be super fed, and everyone's going to think the unranked is intentionally feeding.
The skill gap of ranks accepted is far too wide, the game will always be like this if they don't fix it. No game can be balanced with unranked vs plats or diamonds. Far too many game are won or lost entirely based on matchmaking's fuckups, whether you will get a bunch of unranked vs golds and plats or get the unranked on the other team, almost every game you can see decided in champ select if you can see what ranks they are. The person who stands out as someone shouldn't have been matched in this game, always gets super fed.
Or like a few games me and my friends got the last few days. Our team ranges from an average unranked player, as well as ranks ranging from B3 to S3. We kept getting matched against high Gold and as High as Plat 3 players. So yeah, people getting rolf-stomped is an unfortunate common occurrence for us.
Yes. I used to have a 49% win rate. Now? It's like 15%. Can't seem to win a game for trying.
Thornmail on every ROLE!
