Definition of having fun and climbing is now "kill everyone in 0.5 secs or you get killed in 0,4 secs" nothing more, nothing less. Games are decided even more now till 15 mins, then you play it out or pray for a hard throw. Everyone does insane dmg, get right clicked couple times you lose 80% hp, yeah ok... Not only that, the matchmaking seems to wanna fuck you up the ass every chance it gets, but I guess that's just confirmation bias, too little of a sample right ? only 5 years of ranked and thousands of games...

But its ok, asian market likes it this way so it's gonna stay that way. Btw did you see that LCK GAME ?????!"!?!!?!?!?!?"#!"#!"#!"!11213123!!!!!!

Recommendations? I've dabbled with Dota2 though it's a bit too conflicting of a task to transition, I've played a small bit of HotS but it just doesn't feel as smooth or clear as League, I'm planning on retrying MKX tomorrow for the sake of it.

But yeah what would you recommend?

Games I played and can suggest: World of Tanks - MMO pseudo tank simulator, where 15v15 teams fight against each other War Thunder- It's like WoT but more realistic. Both require a lot of grinding btw.

War Thunder

STEER CLEAR!!! i am an old War thunder player and this game has become pay 2 win and a MASSIVE grind fest with russian moderation banning everyone on the boards that says the game is not in a good place. I've had several jet planes for the reference of experience.

is Wakfu still alive? I use to play that game like wow, very long time ago and I stopped after a huge player base decrease, and then I face checked years later and the world was a ghost town. I love Dofu and Wakfu but I was sad how dead wakfu felt.

Yeah, maybe it's not as populated as it was on launch, but many people still play it, especially because on the nternational server, which is Remington, you find people from all the world and time zones.

HotS is officially on life support (Blizzard killed esports funding), so you shouldn't bother too much with that one.

Dota2 is in great shape, and has some alternative (player created!) modes like Autochess that are insanely popular right now. It's a much more complicated game, but Valve's policies are much less idiotic than Riot's, so if you want a MOBA to get good at, it's a good choice.

CSGO has a massive hacker problem, so I'd avoid that.

Overwatch seems to be slowly dying as well, and is run by a company that will ban you simply for being too good.

Have you tried Rocket League or Rainbow 6?

dota is hardly complicated. if anything, league is more complicated compared to dota 2 in a bad way.

Just to clarify - the thing that moves is a courier. You can buy most items anywhere, and then the courier takes them to you, flying from your base.

You don't lose _all _ held gold when you die, but you do lose a percentage.

All I can say you are not the only one. I've noticed similar thing on moderators thread (https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/gameplay-balance/3uGfOaP2-gameplay-boards-rules-and-guidelines-what-do-you-want-from-them). He got about 15 downvotes within a span of few minutes (I caught that abnormality when I was refreshing the page). Tbh this could be just people unhappy with the BS the mod wrote, but guts tell me it's kinda deeper. The rest of downvotes comes from herd of sheep, that follow whatever is popular rather than read & think themselves (or people extremally pissed off at moderators in boards)

Opinion: League stops being "fun" or "goofy" when you get into climbing solely.

I've been playing ARAM, Flex Queue, and Normals with friends and I've never had more fun. Playing AP lee sin, spamming moo cow alistar's cowbell in lane. Amazing.

Going for big plays/outplays or playing super aggro or not worrying too much about drake timers/baron vision/rotatoins/jungle pathing cause you can just play on autopilot while you discuss random shit with friends? Fun as fk.

Going for a stupid ass dive, all dying 0-3, and just laughing your ass off. Like just the other game my AP malphite mid was like 0-8 in lane, and I didn't even give a shit. I was like "that guys so bad lmao", but it didn't tilt me or my friends. Not to mention in normals n shit people don't tryhard as much so you don't have the enemy mid constantly roaming bot and coming for your cheeks. I'm telling you, you can choose to play for fun.

idk ive never had this much fun in the game, the game IMO is finally in a state of somewhat balance where it is possible to win when your ahead in a timely manner, comebacks are achievable if you play smart, most classes are viable, adc's are back in the game but off meta adc's can still work if played smart, most supports are playable. The damage meta is pretty much over lol im not sure why people are saying this about dying 0.5 seconds lol. Assassin's can still burst you down, you just need to snowball far enough and you can one shot like youre supposed to do but that has nothing to do with a damage meta that has more to do with what the class is supposed to do. I've been seeing bruiser dominate top but tanks are starting to pop out more and more, buffs to tanks are coming in aswell. laning phase has been extended to like 12-13 minutes which is a pretty fair laning phase, turrets aren't useless anymore, but they arent ridiculous anyway. Matchmaking can't do much about everyday people that have bad games, and afk. Most people who do feed arent doing so intentionally and when i look at their match history i see that they carried their last game, i was just unlucky that they played like shit in my game.

but if you wanna blame the game for your inability to climb that's okay, blame the asian market too, blame whatever you want to blame but the problem isnt with the game but with you so i recommend taking a break because riot can't do anything to help you.

Last note: Obiously there are some champions like riven, vayne and kayle IMO who are ridiculously strong but there will always be a couple of really strong champions and they will change in a patch or two so that even more annoying champs come in.

38 kills zed begs to differ because the jinx was 15 kills in she wins the game simply because she is a hyper carry even tho he killed her 7 times. If i knew how to post my match history i would its hilarious how 1 sided shutdown gold rewards late game or item based champions as opposed to time/level based champions.

Imagine having 38 kills on Zed and not having closed out the game. The only way that happens is if you're playing for kills and no shit you will get outscaled especially when you're piling on gold which goes over the 6 item cap.

Also it's much easier for Zed to get kills than Jinx. That is how they are balanced.

Zed has an easier time getting kills but the gold isn't as important in terms of closing out the game than someone like Jinx who has a harder time getting kills early.

Sorry but jinx is vs other champions just like her and getting kills on her is just as easy as it would be on any adc/support combo. You and your support land the cc and go ham and one of the 2 bot laners gets the kills (its easier with stronger adcs yes, but you will get fed no matter what if you ever killed your enemy laner based on how bot lane works) That being said, no its not easier for zed to get kills, jinx right clicks someone dies eventually with no punishments for jinx outside 30 mana per rpg THEY have to stop her from killing them. Zed has to actively hit his spells and abilities, if zed just right clicks the minions go ham on him and he dies faster to 3 casters and 3 melees than they die to 1 zed right clicking them. Also Adcs typically have range advantage on melees so the melee cant simply right click. Flash also dumpsters zed more than it does an adc do to how most ccs/dashes are skill shots that can be dodged via flash.(zeds R can be flashed after zed has locked his position in.) The idea that zed was farming kills is also wrong, he simply couldnt right click the turret with no attackspeed fast enough to beat the jinx/jax, so he had to kill them first to push anywhere (lack of attackspeed once again cripples zeds carry potential). They are not balanced around how easy it is for them to kill, they are balanced around how easy it is for them to BE killed and their resources. Zed has FAR more safety than jinx and uses energy for infinite sustain, but safety and ability sustain doesn't let you carry in the 1 shot deathball recall meta, and Zeds probably one of the most SAFE champions in league so he has the most power budget spent in a stat that wont help him carry. That being said ive played talon gotten 27 kill and couldnt close a game out (our anivia afked because i "stole a kill at minute 8 while she was in egg" dancing in the fountain spamming w on people. I had 7 kills in 9 minutes as talon top. Same problem occured i could KILL any 1 PERSON, and if they waited for my cds, i could repeatedly kill everyone on their team, problem is, the re spawn is so fast early that by the time you kill the 5th person the first is 1 is up and your base stats dont let you ignore the galio or the garen while tryna push the turret and you dont push fast enough if your allies dont try to end. Aka you CANT CARRY where something like draven or master yi can #ripthedream.

The fact that you can't close out games with 20+ kills is not a flaw of the game, it is a flaw in your play. If you think Talon or Zed are meant to teamfight in the late game then you are probably going to lose, unless you carefully choose your flanks/play around vision. Otherwise you cannot teamfight at the same level as a Jinx.

Aim to play better. Or just play Jinx if you think it's that simple/easy. Lol.

The fact you simply CANT teamfight 20 kills in means your champion is flawed by itself nothing more. 20 kills in anything else in the game would dumpster teamfights. At that point level advantage and the ability to build defensive items makes you a tanksassin regardless. But no its typically just the achiles heel of things like fiora/zed/so on they have no win conditions in their kit. Kayle is hit lvl 16 Veigar is get stax and cdr on w for teamfights hit that cage. Morg is land the bind on a carry and land the 5 man R zhonyas. Kennen is get the flank R Mundo is get to late/mid game and eat poke while poking them back till you can all in and be a massive threat. Darius is the penta dunk along with pyke and his free gold. Anivia is to scale and zone with the garunteed kill that R e can get to be(well r e e since the changes). Zed is.... kill the same person he has been killing and hope something comes from it?

You can teamfight, depends on the stage of the game and their carries. Are you 20/15 and it's late game? Then you can't teamfight.

Are you 20/5 in the mid game? You will still dominate in a teamfight.

The things that you are typing are beyond my comprehension dude. Your understanding of the game is so bad and I can't even correct everything you're shitting out. Honestly the only advice I can give you is get good.

Problem is you really cant 20/5 on zed he tried. Either he went in and got 0 follow up, ate 3 hard ccs and died fora free 1300 gold or so,OR, he went in killed 2 people by himself from full hp, and chunked others died and so did his entire team. He was massively ahead yes, but zeds kit is energy gated combined with low damage abilities that are buffed by just how many he can use at once. If the malphite stands in front of zed by pushing R as zed lands from his R, then all the q damages get nerfed if he even gets to use them before he hits the ground. ------Also try to not insult people in your posts its rude.

That 1300 gold shutdown made the game go to late game REAL fast like. Die twice someones at full build by the 22 min mark. So what zed has to be 22/0 to win but 21/1 and he loses simply because the shutdown gold cost him the entire game? lol.

i was plat in s4/5/6

back then i felt like i worked my ass off to even get to gold, and then it was a tough journey to get to plat. Strategic , from pick/ban thru the entire games.

i didn't play ranked last season so i guess they reset my mmr, bc they placed in b4. I can basically choose a 1v5 champ MasterYi Nasus Graves or bash my head against a wall and get -LP bc of the matchmaking. It's so obvious at this point. ITs a coin flip. Not a "better team wins", rather, "which team gets the 0-10 feeder" decides the games lol.e

the gutted strategy around when dynamic queue came into place, making the "strategy" about picking the most overpowered champions.

dont get attachment to ranked. ARAM and SR are still fun, just dont pretened rank means anything lmao , unless ur good enough to get to like D2

It makes me sad because I used to love League and played like 6+ games everyday. Now I can't be bothered to even start a game each day unless I'm in a full premade or playing with a friend. Feels worse with each season. Each patch really.
