Why should I pick Jhin?

Like how is he any better then Ezreal? Or Missfortune Or Vayne Or ANY ADC

He has way to many draw backs to even be considered UNLESS you legit build a 4 man comp around him , that can protect him, other wise he's utter trash. Even Yasuo who requires some comp built around him can do perfectly fine on his own. Jhin on the other hand requires to be baby sat to be of any use or he's just gonna get bursted down in an instant by anyone. He can't duel most adcs as he'd die before he even got to his 4th AA.

I honestly don't see a reason to pick Jhin over anyone, to many weakness's and to many draw backs to be of any use. Even if played to perfection. Idk I'd suggest making his reload speed A LOT faster , the reason is works on graves is because graves AA's hit REALLY fast in between AA's (And his reload speed is also faster) Graves can also kite with his E (He's also more tanky, and more burst)

Why should I pick Jhin?

Yasuo is fine with a team that isn't based around him. There is a lot of knockups in the game anyway.

There isn't much of a point in picking Jhin, I mean being Trump and insulting others' is fun, but ya'kno, pick whatever you want to.

He's got really good pick potential. Every other ADC's is either very dangerous or too niche.

Because you want to go mid w/ armor pen, instead of trying to stuff him into the bot lane.

That said, if you DO go bot lane, he can be reallllly aggressive right away, and easily win fights w/ his support levels 1-5. After that, he takes longer to scale than other ADCs, so yeah, you have to hardcore backline.

I've been doing very well w/ Jhin, mostly in mid, and just trying to get the most out of his W and his traps. You have to use all of Jhin's tools a lot more than you do w/ Vayne or Ez, who are 1v1 oriented, but I do think there's a pay off.

Or ANY ADC

There's your trouble. Don't take him ADC.

If you can go mid, by the way, into an AP character (who isn't Leblanc, LB will ruin you), try running lifesteal runes and masteries, use the 8% healing bonus mastery, start doran's, and the sustain you get is crazy. Makes it very easy to trade a spell hit on you for an auto on them, and over time win the war of attrition.

I've also been experimenting with 19 flat armor pen, and going (assuming AP mid) Maw > Dusk. I try to get damage w/ W assists, leading with the ult (waiting for cool executions is often a trap, just set it up on sieges, make the enemy run, etc), Q bounces, maybe a trap, and then run in for 1 or 2 autos w/ Dusk up = dead.

Ok one more thing: really try to assist your jungler, especially if they're aggro/chase oriented, like Elise/Udyr/Lee. Roam with them some, lay down traps in enemy jungle (which are great at providing vision, even if the damage is hard to stick), and if your jungler can catch someone with a stun or snare, you can easily follow up with HUGE range on your W (which I recommend leveling first), to secure the kill.

I don't see any reason to pick him, really.

He is a sort of decent lane bully early, but his damage and utility seem lackluster: particularly for a squishy immobile ADC.

Additionally his abilities have a theme of tons of counter play with mediocre rewards in their ideal situations.

I made a similar post a few days ago.

MF deals so much more damage with her ult but this comparison is fairly balanced. Jhins ult range is much higher tbf. MF also suffers from lack of mobility.

Ezreal, Lucian, Quinn, Graves etc have very very very good damage. Ez and lucian have practical uses in the game and very decent amount of range on their ults.. (Ezreal ofc has the best even over Jhin). So this is the part that disturbs me. These guys clearly have better mobility, have better damage output in real-play, and (at least Ezreal) has some hard-hitting long range.

I play Jhin because I like his character and I think he's interesting n stuff. He has a unique style. But just because you have your own style (Sion) doesn't mean you're a better pick than more practical options.

Funnily enough, Sion and Jhin work really well together.

I've noticed Jhin takes a lot of effort and strategy to be useful, more so than most adcs. His reload time is definitely something that should be looked into, perhaps reducing it slightly in the mid and late game.

I play Jhin like a supportive carry, somewhat similar to Ashe, I pick him when I feel my W will combo well with my team's abilities to lock them down, I spam my traps when we set up a fight and use my ult mostly to slow enemies for my team to catch up to them.

Thing is, Jhin needs a very protective support like Braum, Lulu, Alistar, he's not that useful before he gets 2 items + swifties. I only pick Jhin if I'm 4th or 5th pick and my team synergyses well with my kit and if the enemy team doesn't have too much room to abuse my weaknesses.

Highest AD of any ADC in the game. Nuff said.

1st. dont play Jhin adc. it sucks. take him mid or top instead 2nd. He's cool, which is rare in marksmen. all i got

unless you have a dedicated duo partner I don't think Jhin really does much as adc...Im a support main but play kalista a lot as adc and anytime I see a jhin it either means free kills or free farm. Early he does do a lot of damage with his 4th shot but he has no escapes so he is really easy to engage, even as support I can keep him poked off of cs.
