I got trolled, and then got chat banned for it.

My mid hovered Zoe, i accidentally banned it. It was late, and mostly habit. Honest mistake.

Mid says he's gonna make this the worst game of my life. Picks Anivia. Follows me bot. Trolls me with wall. Tries to get me killed repeatedly. Takes smite to steal my cs. Takes teleport to follow me around the map. I can't back all game. He's just following me, cancelling recalls with wall and spamming emote over and over.

His top lane duo Yasuo (Go figure) is telling me how 'I had it coming' and 'I deserve it' and 'We'll report you after the game for afk' (I wasn't afk, I ended the game a level up on the Anivia).

I'm asking team to FFat15. They didn't because we were actually winning, so fine. I'll be as good a sport as I can. Did I swear? A few times. Was I salty? Yes, this guy had a tantrum and wasted 30 minutes of my time just to be a child.

Was i TOXIC? No. I was originally just pleading in disbelief because the ultimate irony of this is that THE OTHER TEAM BANNED ZOE TOO. So the guy spent 30 minutes trolling me and his duo spent all game taunting me because I accidentally banned his champ that he wouldn't have been able to play anyway.

So now I'm chat banned. And I got no notification that anything happened to the two people who were actually toxic and spent 30 minutes griefing me for an honest mistake.

Is the ban system automated to an extent and this was a wonky case?

You at least USED to get that message. I don't know if that's how it is anymore.

I didn't flame. It was more of a 'Is this kid really gonna act like an effing child" after walling my recall 3 times.

Let me correct that title for you: I got trolled then I started flaming, and then got chat banned for it.

You basically never get that message even if the person was banned, so that does not mean anything. If you reported them they will still get punished.

The system is completly automated. But why would that be a wonky case as you called it? You flame -> you get punished. The system is working as intended.

We just wish someone would watch over games rather than just automation..

He reacted poorly, he didn't start flaming, from what I can see. Not like I have access to chat logs, but...there's a difference there.

Your ban isn't that bad. Does it feel unfair? Yeah, but take it as a cue Riot wants you to cut back on your language, even if the scenario demands it.

With that out of the way, I'm sorry it was like that, hopefully those two will get what they deserve.
