Should Barrier get buffed?

Do you think barrier is too weak compared to the other summoner spells? Let’s just pretend ignite was nerfed back into the state before it was op for the sake of this question. I may not play mid much but the few times I do, I feel it’s better to just take heal so I don’t get poked down and then bursted to death.

Right now barrier gives a 115-455 (based on level) for 2 seconds. I was thinking it should get buffed to give a 150-500 shield. That or simply make the shield last for 3 seconds.
