Zed and Lee need their energy regeneration to be lowered.

Energy is supposed to outclass mana in terms of lane sustain. The question is, wether it was done appropriately. Energy management is working for Shen and Kennen. It punishes mindless spam and creates meaninful choices - while also offering their enemies a timeframe to punish bad plays.

On the other hand we have Zed and Lee, both have strong inbuild energy recover on low cooldowns IN ADDITION to the fast regenerating nature of energy itself and high base energy values.

In my eyes Lee and Zed sustain their ressource MUCH to well ad either their base energy, or their free-energy-regain upon skill use have to be brought in line with other champions.

(P.S: I didn't mention Akali simce I believe she has a great and balanced cost for her kit, HOWEVER her interaction with item changes and her passive throw her slightly out of line. E.g. Rylais exra Ap)

Energy favors short but often fights. Mana favors long fights. Its a trade off they make. Try fighting one of them if they are low on energy. "mindless spam mana equivalent" - Ziggs

There a difference between "supposed to be" and "there is". Currently. Late take Zed for example - with W+Q he can poke from 1450 range and come out at where he was. Without E he might have less energy regen but there is absolutely no opening or way to fight back. Not even Xerath can fight at 1450 range.

Considering this insane advantage Zed holds the ease with which he can spam Q and E is just a joke.

All of xeraths abilities are extremely long ranged. Zed may be able to cast a 1450 range Q (which I doubt it is 1450 range)but it costs him two skills AND a long cooldown on his W. The opening is when he has used his shadow. Also his Qs are slow moving with a small hitbox, easily dodged.

W has 900 range. W has 550. You can WQW within less than a thriw of seconds. The point where your Q comes out will come out 1450 units from your original location, where you also come out after reactivatin your W.

P.S: When he has used his shadow a good Zed should be out of your range (or you're dead)

I did the math lol but it never feels like it goes that far. And there are so many variables of him using this combo that it is not even worth discussing and it is off topic. Let me know if you do want to keep discussing this specifically though.

LeeSin could stand to have less base energy regen and more reliance on his passive. Currently the idea of weaving spells and punches is more of an idea than a mechanical necessity when playing him.

Zed is easy to run out of energy. Just stop letting him hit you with Qs. I think Kennen has easier energy management.

Because is not viable to weave punches between spells in teamfights.

whenever i play zed i have to be very careful with energy in lane since i can take free harass if I'm careless with my shadows or q's and i always make sure to have full energy before i ult for maximum damage… whenever zed is out of energy or he used his escape for harass he's easily open to ganks or free harass so i think he's good where he stands in my opinion

Dude ur complaining about energy champs?? You must suck sooo bad, If you want to complain about champs go complain about, champs with no mana nor energy.

Lol kennen doesn't need to abuse energy since he's ranged, he can just autoattack you all day.

Kennen's been just as bad of a balance problem in the past
