what with the nerfs to skillshot champs

SwiftKitten88··1 votes·455 views

nidalee's spear is a line based skillshot that stops at the first target hit, same thing with blitz pull.. and now BOTH champs are getting nerfed. whats next? a thresh nerf.

im sick and tried of bronze people complain about champs are op because they cant learn to stand behind creep or dodge a slow moving skillshot.

i thought this game was supposed to be balanced around high level play. not around people who cant be bother to check to see if there is a minion between themself and an enemy champ.

Eh, Blitz is one of the highest picked and winning supports right now. The only nerf he got is just putting a little more risk into his gameplay, they didn't touch his skillshot, knockup, and aoe silence with 100% ap scaling on a low cd with a weak passive (thank god Lux doesn't have that without building cdr).

You mistake the reason for their nerf for being the skillshots themselves. Both of those nerfs were not because of the skillshots, but because of other aspects of their kits. This is how riot saw best to balance that.

They added more risk to powerful picks.

um... ok then adress the issue of his mobilty by nerfing mobies... becuase THAT is what gives him mis mobility.. not his w...

That doesn't make sense. Why change something that works fine on everything else when Blitzcrank is the one who they're problematic on? If one champion is the problem, then change that champion not the item that many other champions are fine with.

Funny you say the game should be balanced around higher level of play when Blitz is overall doing better in higher ranks than in Bronze. In higher ranks Blitz is literally winning against every single support and is the highest win rate support.

QQ because of very minor nerfs bringing two very reliable champs back in line a LITTLE bit? Oh you poor poor boy :(

Blitz and Nidalee are dominating high level play right now. Just because they have skillshots doesn't mean they're automatically balanced.

The game is balanced around high level play, which is exactly where Blitz and Nidalee are dominating.

if that were true then riot would fix veigar immediately. 39% win rate per last month in the ranked solo Q master+ category. only goes to show professional players know how to capitalize on his glaring weaknesses better than lower ranked players.

They are trying to balance Veigar around high level play, but "immediately" isn't something Riot does when buffing. Riot does buffing over the course of a year. Nerfs are immediate, buffs are extremely cautious.

id rather they spitball at the wall in the PBE over "theory craft" for a year.

Spitballing at the wall in the PBE has a significantly lower value than spitballing at the wall in private alpha servers (the PBE would be a pretty terrible place to test this kind of stuff), but I agree that they should be much more willing to buff champions quicker.
