Because with these current mastery changes that favor ranged champs to the extreme almost all melees without lots of mobility or tankiness are done top lane, see every single juggernautDarius DrMundo Illaoi Garen Nasus Mordekaiser Olaf ?Yorick Volibear

Maybe we can give Darius heals to large jungle monsters, same with Illaoi. Maybe make Garen E do bonus damage to monsters and not let his passive go on CD.

Honestly there is no reason in hell to pick any of these champs except maybe Olaf top lane because they will get bullied, CS starved, low, and outscaled by almost every single ranged champ in the game played top lane.

Oh man that would be the case if they could tank for more then 3 seconds. If they pick Swain or Gnat their front line is already better than these juggernauts while having a god tier laying phase vs all non mobile melees.

Gnat, Ryze, Quinn, Swain, Vayne, Graves, Vladimir, and Kennen have better laying phases, team fights, and are super strong late game.

Can I just say your autocorrect made this post like ten times as entertaining as it should have been? XD

Also, when people complain about tanks not tanking for more than three seconds they're kinda ignoring the fact that the main purpose of a tank is to provide CC for the team, not just to absorb incoming fire (although they are meant for that too).

(Also, you forgot Shyvana and Udyr from your juggernaut list, and maybe one or two more we're both forgetting).

Darius is one of the few champions that I have seen be able to survive Top Lane against every Ranged Top Lane except Jayce, Kennen, and really good Ryze players. His pull range is usually good enough for most other Ranged Tops.

Others... Illaoi is ok at the moment. Most others can Jungle actually. Dr. Mundo, Olaf, and Volibear are really threatening Junglers when played right. Nasus can Jungle and do some cheese Dragon kills. Mordekaiser can really just go anywhere right now, although not thrive everywhere equally. Yorick Jungle is a weird thing, but it somewhat works. The only one left is Garen, who is kind of in a weird space to where he can't Jungle and isn't incredible Top.

In large part because it would take a great deal of time to actually figure out how to do so without breaking other things, so no, it's not likely to happen soon.
