It's great that we wanted tanks to be viable again.

But now we still have the same damn issue of diversity lmao. It's "only tank junglers" being viable. Gl playing a squishy jungler besides nid/fid.

It's actually the opposite.

Bruisers are still in every game. Lee Sin's pick rate refuses to go down. Sejuani is the only mainstream tank jungler.

i wouldnt call it that hard

i would say that tank junglers are actualy becoming trully viable, but not plainly a better choice than anything else

thats better diversity than tanks just replacing fighters right off the bat

the fact that both opinions are alive (one side thinks tanks took over, one says they did not) proves that

Lee is picked a lot because he's fucking popular. People like the monk. His pick rate is always high, even when he's been mediocre or less strong. Sona is similar. People just like Sona, she's apparently wildly considered trash, and she has still held a 10-12% pick rate for a long time.

Its the opposite. You rarely see Maokai, Naut, Amumu, etc. You only see Sejuani and Gragas because they are more mobile than J4 and Vi due to their easy wall jumps (J4 essentially has 1 less skill than they do; Vi self slows), extreme tankiness and ability to deal huge damage and CC both at ranged and melee, while being nearly full tank, all the while being AP. J4 and Vi meanwhile have to choose between damage and tankiness due to being AD.

mao jungle is terrible. When they shrunk his w they made it so he could never again be a jungle tank. The rest i have seen often enough. It takes some time for people to learn how to jungle the tanks again and the easier ones will come back first.

I think we have an overall much larger champion roster that you can pick.

Diversity is up if you consider the total number of champions you can play, but it's relatively the same as before as far as classes go. But it's a baby-steps process; I'm sure Riot wants to find a good way to bring back mages, assassins, and HOPEFULLY they're even interested in pushing certain Marksmen as junglers too.
