Grave's reworked auto's would be even cooler if the pellets distributed semi-randomly.

Shotguns don't scatter in a perfectly spaced cone.

Compass and straightedge precision tells a tale of the calculated finesse of an expert archer with an elegant bow, not the RAW, UNTAMED POWER of a BOOMSTICK. I'm not asking for unreliability, I'm asking for visual cohesion.

The identical spacing on each auto is real monotonous, and visually feels weak. I’m thinking a Gaussian (bell curve) distribution, but anything that'd add some visual variance would do wonders, without impacting gameplay.

Even some variation to the particles on the smoke trails on his pellets would work.

As cool as it would be, I think they're going for the practicality of being consistent for gameplay sake. Even in the visuals it can be misleading if it looks random.

If they don't want ANY inconsistency, just some variation to the smoke particles for each pellet would do wonders. I've edited the post to include this.
