Ppl need to understand that if the day came that riven got mana she would get buffed for having mana obviously, and the mana would just make her play safe until she stacked tear which probably wouldn't take much with her kit, and in the end she would be way stronger than she is now mid-late game, just imagine her ulty+passive+manamune+shen, you would get bursted in almost one AA for sure.

Now she either gets kills early and rolfstomps everyone or becomes a siege minion, with mana she just has to play safe which is easy with her kit wait for manamune and tf and rolfstomp everyone mid game.

The only champ with a comparable playstyle you listed is diana. She has a shield amd hogher base reg

riven not only has no sustan but she is very squishy without her sheild. all the people you suggested are HELLA tanky(well maybe diana if built assasin and i guess jayce)
