People say ADCs are too strong. I want to see how true that is.

ADC is my worst role by far. Like... holy shit I am a bad adc. So I will be maining adc this season to see if adc really is so strong that even a shit adc like me can play it and win. If I can surpass my last season rank of Gold 4 then adc is good. If I can beat my ranked best of Plat 1 then adc is stupid broken.

So far I am 3/3. Tiny sample size but it is looking promising.

ADCs are very strong right now, but that's mostly considering a situation where people are equally skilled. Just be careful and try to learn as much as you can while playing.

In EU LCS 5 adcs were bannned. Over half of all bannes were used on them.

I mean you're still going to be playing vs other adc players who probably know what they're doing

makes no sense, both sides always picks an adc so if you can't climb it just means you're really shit

To sum up why this post is misguided in terms of reasoning.

If you're a defender for a football team but you see that the goal keeper or midfielder has the most impact (hypothetically speaking), you playing midfielder or goalkeeper will cause you to lose more than win because your not adept at the role, your playing it just because it has impact and not because you have any real talent for it. So in the end you only hinder your team playing against other clubs with actual competent midfielders or goalkeepers.

ADC can be strong but you have to not just lean how to play the champ, but learn how to play differently based on your supports champ and how they play that champ.

The better bot lane wins. Whether the role is good or not will be relevant to you and your counter part. To be fair, if you struggle reaching your designated rank, surpassing your last rank or even hitting your best rank will be indicative enough of whether the role is good or not. If you find yourself to be losing 51% or more of your games by playing the adc role because you're CONSISTENTLY worse than the enemy adc, that's indicative enough that adc or rather bot lane is indeed too strong. The reason being, if you team can comprise of people who are better than your counterpart 50% of the time and leave you, who struggle to win vs your counter part, but still somehow end up losing this is enough statistics to show that your role impacts the game so hard that you won't move unless you get better.

That's just my 2 cents on the matter. I lose more games where I play adc as I can't perform up to standards on the adc, but win more when I play top/jg where I consistently help my bot lane/peel for my adc who, 7/10 times, performs better than me anyways. I like to say, "I should adc since my bot lane seems to be trash most games", but that just contradicts my own thoughts because if I adc, my bot lane will be trash 100% of the time.

Every time I watch a good top lane player now I see them mention how nothing matters if bot lane loses, so honestly if you're up to auto attacking from range it seems like it's the best role to play by a mile now. Unsurprising considering how forced it is as a carry role.

Go for it, the Season lasts like 10 months anyway. You can't always quit it goes south.

I'll probably try Support once the next patch hits. It should open up their build paths quite a bit.

A lot of ADCs are very strong, unless you're Jinx, Caitlyn, Sivir, or Ashe.
