The better bot lane wins. Whether the role is good or not will be relevant to you and your counter part. To be fair, if you struggle reaching your designated rank, surpassing your last rank or even hitting your best rank will be indicative enough of whether the role is good or not. If you find yourself to be losing 51% or more of your games by playing the adc role because you're CONSISTENTLY worse than the enemy adc, that's indicative enough that adc or rather bot lane is indeed too strong. The reason being, if you team can comprise of people who are better than your counterpart 50% of the time and leave you, who struggle to win vs your counter part, but still somehow end up losing this is enough statistics to show that your role impacts the game so hard that you won't move unless you get better.
That's just my 2 cents on the matter. I lose more games where I play adc as I can't perform up to standards on the adc, but win more when I play top/jg where I consistently help my bot lane/peel for my adc who, 7/10 times, performs better than me anyways. I like to say, "I should adc since my bot lane seems to be trash most games", but that just contradicts my own thoughts because if I adc, my bot lane will be trash 100% of the time.
