Legit question, Ranked is beyond toxic and broken right now special this season with how the gold funneling taking over slowly plus the matchmaking being worst than ever add to that the fact they did admit that position ranking is failure.
Yet they didn't disable ranked system or plan to even reset with how much it just all throwing around badly like this.
ChaosReyn2 votesThey wouldn't disable ranked, they'd just revert it and give you your highest positional rank as your overall rank for the season now.
However, I think more than anything, the biggest failure isn't on their system, it's more on people exploiting it, often negatively. Example: "I got autofilled, but I'll only lose like 4LP for this, and I may as well jerk off and make everyone else lose LP for wasting my time!"
They need to fix things like that before positional could work...but the concept of positional ranking wasn't a bad one.
