For all the hate that come with "mini games"
They actually feel far more fair than most archaic designs league has. As an example, illaoi pulls your spirit away and you're faced with two choices: back away and accept the outcome and kill tentacles or fight for it but neither results in instant death. Same with Fioras ult in theory (it's other shit about her that made her dumb), there's room to actually play around it.
Compare this to something like Diana or Lee who land one Q and proceed to 100-0 you. This isn't aimed to be Diana one Lee QQ either, it's simply a few examples. Their kits hinge on landing one skill shot then proceeding to excecute and honestly that's horse shit. Nobody likes playing that game because eventually they will land a skill-shot and unless you've invested completely into defense, they will kill you. On the flip side, even when massively ahead or behind, "mini game" champions can still lose out entirely.
I would love to get rid of all of these kits that bank on landing one skill shot into sudden death because that feels like absolute dog shit to play against and typically those champions are nightmares to balance. Mini-games is a really cringe name but at least the style of play continually offers some form of playing around spells when someone finally lands something rather than "Oh they landed skill shot x, enjoy grey screen."
Just a random thought I suppose. Oh and nerf Leblanc.
