One glaring issue with Shield Bash

She'll be able to abuse it as she isn't intended to, just like she did with Courage of the Colossus.

I'm not sure how this would be fixed, aside from a straight nerf to her shield.

I mean its not like she's strong right now and if she has 3000 Bonus Health and 500 ad and its impossible for riven to get those stats too it does 144 damage I do not see the problem but I could be wrong.

I don't think she builds enough hp to abuse it. If riven builds the standard damage items, shield bash will just be an inferior cheap shot on her.

Shield bash will only be a problem on champions with spammable shields who can't normally abuse cheap shot (viktor) or champions who build a ton of hp and have ho scaling built on their shield.

How do you know she's not intended to be a user of this rune? I really don't get this "OMG X abuses this rune/item" when that was clearly intended fot them

You say, "clearly intended", and that's just not correct.

I used CoC as my example specifically because it outlines the fact Riven is not a tank, and they have gone to lengths before to make sure non-tanks can't just abuse tank items for no penalty.
